Exide Technologies sells *** batteries
- Bought 4 Stowaway Marine batteries with a 3-year warranty.
- Two batteries leaked green gel after 18 months; the cat died.
I bought 4 Stowaway Marine batteries manufactured by this company. They have a three year warranty.
I have had them for 18 months. Stored indoors and kept for emergency power outages. I have a CPAP machine to keep me breathing at night. Theses batteries are for this machine incase of power outage!
Two of the batteries busted out the side and leaked some green gel. I set them outside for safety concerns. My wife's cat licked this gel, fell ill and died! I called the store where I bought them and they referred me to Exide Tech., the manufacturer.
I called Exide and spoke to a representative named David. I explained my situation and he was less than interested in helping me. He was rude and even hung up on me!!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE EXIDE PRODUCTS. THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARANTY!!!
