Prom Transportation RIP OFF

Why are companies continually allowed the "great prom rip off". Limo companies raise the rates, restaurants create dinners at higher prices, etc. Economic conditions have affected everyone and companies continue to endanger many students to this rite of passage. Executive Transport, LLC in Centennial endangers children, has horrible customer service and is a total rip off. Not only are their prices inflated for prom; On April 14, 2012 Executive Transport a@ 5754 S Telluride St, Centennial, CO 80015 was hired for the Dakota Ridge prom. The "party bus" showed to pick up the kids. Noticed a bit later by the kids was a sign saying 15 people max, there were over 20 and all were on board sitting on laps. This poses a serious safety issue. During the dance, many of the kids left their cell phones and personal items in the vehicle, one sat his iPhone on the bar, it is assumed when the driver left the drop off location the phone fell into a faulty space within the bar When a call was placed to pick the phone up he was told the vehicle was in Pueblo for the day and would have to wait another day. Repeated calls have been met with rude denials to retrieve the phone and as of today, April 21, 2012 were told "we will get to it when we do". When a request to talk to a manager or owner is made you are told "he isn't here" when asked when available "maybe Wednesday", when asked for a call within 24 hours you are told "that isn't going to happen". Due to their faulty equipment, horrible customer and exposing our children to a potentially dangerous and illegal practice (over capacity) this service it is inexcusable.
