I bought a bike in 2020. It took 5 months to arrive. After I had it a few months the battery blew (I accidently touched the key to the charging port). I wanted to PURCHASE a new battery. They didn't have any. I had to get from a third party. Then the front brake mechanism failed at the handlebar. I crashed. I was injured but not badly I recovered but the bike didn't. The frame is bent. I emailed Ewheels about the failure and wanted to file a warranty claim on the frame. They said I couldn't because it was damaged (due to failure). I then asked if I could buy a new frame. They said no, it is a warranty only item. They were unable to provide me with a battery when I needed it and will not sell me a new frame or honor the warranty. My $1600 bike is toast. Local bike shops don't have parts and won't work on it. I would only purchase from a widely used dealer that local bike shops can work on. They shouldn't sell bikes they can't provide parts for. User's recommendation: Purchase elsewhere - they can't provide what you need

I finally got an email from Ayla Trembath at Ewheels dealers and she said to send her a video of the defect. So I sent her a video, and almost crashed while filming it.

I included the video in my review. She said it cannot be returned but it can be fixed. I have not heard anything from her for 3 weeks . I need to get this fixed so I can sell it.

It is a useless piece of junk!

If I can’t return it , it needs to be fixed. Shame on this company for taking advantage of senior citizens!

Cant get thru to anyone! Not by phone , email, chat or whatever. My scooter is defective. The controls were installed backwards and I cant use it. Have already placed warning flyers in over 30 senior facilities to not buy this product. It is very dangerous because it wasnt assembled properly. And the company doesnt care. Hopefully they will lose out on hundreds of sales

Backup beeper

I recently purchased a scooter and would like to know if and how the backup beeper can be disconnected. The scooter is used primarily indoors and the noise is very loud

They won’t return calls on how to get their scooters repaired

They do not answer nor do they call back and never answer the phone they say you next in the q then say their to busy they will call back within 72 hours and never do

User's recommendation: Don’t buy one if it breaks there are no repair people that can fix because Ewheels doesn’t return their calls either.
