Evinco Poor Quality Mid Century Reproductions & NO Customer Service
I purchased a reproduction of an Eames chair for $999.99 from Evinco 3 years ago. Since owning the chair one of the leather buttons came out of the seat and an irregularity, hard raised spot, in the leather upholstery caused a small home to appear in the armrest.
I first emailed Evinco in June asking if there was any sort of warranty on the chair and if I would be able to get a replacement button. I am NOT askeding for a replacement chair, I AM asking that someone call me back and let me know IF Evinco will send me a button to replace the button that came off the chair and let me know if they stand behind their products. When I didn't hear back via email after 2 weeks, I started calling. To date I have called 7 times- It is now the 1st of Sept.
As of today I am still waiting on a call from Evinco.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this company. Terrible customer service and the furniture doesn't live up to expectations it is NOT built to last!

Buyer Beware!
I ordered a coffee table trough their ExclusivelyLoft website with a 6 to 8 week delivery date. After numerous inquiries and attempts to contact them they finally shipped the item after 6 MONTHS.
And it was broken! They took it back, promising to have it repaired. I did not hear from them again, my messages (phone and e-mail) were ignored until another 2 months later they wrote that the company was sold and the old owners "are not cooperating" and the new owners are not responsible. End of story.
This is a very shady operation with impossible customer service. Do not deal with this company!
Ordered clock almost 21 days ago..still no clock; not even a tracking number!
I ordered a wall clock from this company. They send me a confirmation email of my purchase that the item is in stock and ready to ship.
It will be delivered within 10 days. Tomorrow is the 21st day and still no product delivered and NO tracking # available. Everytime I ask for a tracking #, they tell me tomorrow it will be available. After emailing back to them that I am an unhappy customer, they offered a $40 refund for the delay.
Is this a lie too?
I plan to report them to the BBB as well. I should have researched them before making the purchase.

This company is BAD!
They lie and I am trying to get my money back currently.
They have no one answering the phone, they give you bogus tracking info, and they lie about delivery dates. I am currently filing a complaint with the BBB of New York. My credit card company is charging back my order amount.
I orderd my chair in Janaury 2011 and they told me it would ship in 5-7 days. Three weeks later I still did not see it. I started getting nervous and tried contacting them through the phone and I got an answering service that told me they would pass the message on. NO ONE called me back. I tried e-mail again and finally got a tracking number that I eventually found out didn't exist. Estes Trucking said they had no record of my tracking number as well as told me the tracking number wasn't correct or real. I tried cancelling my order at that point and the company IGNORED ME! Unbelievable. I refused the chair when it finally shipped(after I told the company I wanted cancellation and I was not accepting delivery). How could I trust a product from liars?
I am waiting to hear from my credit card company for info on the refund.

We have only had our entertainment center for 8 months and the front glass shattered and blew out of the unit. The manufacturer says we probably bumped it or something and that they can't even let us buy replacement glass to fix the unit.
So what does Evinco do they offer us a $50 coupon for a $600 unit. So now we have to either buy the whole unit again or live with glass blown out over the front lights.
I think it's crazy that there is nothing the company can help us to after spending our money there. Guess that shows how much they care about their customers!
Worst buying experience ever
do not buy from this company. i was dumb enough to read all of the negative reviews and still place an order. do not make the same mistake i made.
its funny because the website says 95% of items are in stock and yet all the reviews you read are about how long people have been waiting for their products. the site says my chairs usually ship in 2-3 business days. placed the order on december 31, still no chairs or tracking number
furthermore, i have yet to actually talk to a person on the phone about my order. i think it is so shady how the people who answer the phones refer to themselves as messengers and how they dont have access to ANY information. ive recieved one email response from Julie (probably a madeup name) telling me my order would arrive early last week via fedex. still no chairs and still no tracking number.
again, do not buy from this company. think about it. google EVINCO and the THIRD automated search term is EVINCO COMPLAINTS. that says alot in my opinion. as soon as i get a person on the phone to talk to about my order, im getting a refund . worst internet buying experience ever
Buyer Beware, paid a deposit on furniture and 18 weeks later they wont even return my calls.

A modern furniture website promised product that was never delivered
BUYER BEWARE!
I paid 50% deposit and there was a 12 week delivery on the furniture. After 12 weeks I couldn't get eninco on the phone and then an answering service started screening their calls. I finally after 16+ weeks went back to the creditcard company to get my 50% deposit back.
Evinco is not customer service oriented even though their website has false postings from customers that are "Delighted" with their service I refer to their service as desasterious!
Evinco is listed on other consumer complaint sites with the same problems from other consumers that I discovered.... just wish I'd found them before I placed my order Buyer Beware Evinco.com is Not service minded and good luck ever seeing your purchase Buyer Beware!

Evinco Design Staff sent this customer a replacement button for her chair. No excuse for the lack of communication, but Evinco Design prides itself on excellent customer relations. We sell to more than 300 happy customers each year, with no complaints.
