They keep sending me bills for charging that never happened.

You give them your visa and they charge you when you have not gone near their EV chargers.

$30 hold on charge station

So went to my local DC Fast charger to charge car to 100% before a 440 mile trip. Fast charging and everything was stellar.

No issues... except. I found a $30 hold charge on my CC after I charged.

This is 2023, this is uneccesary. Get rid of these holds.

Pricing policy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Vendor sells the product (electricity) by how much time is consumed vending it, not the quantity of the product (kilowatt hours) as every user consumes (electricity) at a different rate (time). For example, vehicle A can charge at a low fixed rate but vehicle B can charge at a much faster rate, B gets many more KWs than A but pays the same as A. That, my friend, is grossly unfair to.

User's recommendation: Unless you're in California where charging unfairly is illegal, charge your car elsewhere.

Mine was/is/and will continue to be to persuade this company to straighten up and fly right with regard to price their product fairly. They're not selling time. Their selling electricity.

Companies follow up was boilerplate. In effect: their response was essentially "we'll take your comments under advisement".

Didn't understand why there were several pending charges

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Customer service was great! I was told that the "fake" charges go away after a few days and that the actual charge reconciles.

The rep completely explained their system and level of membership. She was VERY helpful.

Note, NOT ALL reps were helpful. The first attempt to call about this issue, the tech hung up on me after I said there were several unknown charges on my bank account.

User's recommendation: Don't fret about the pending unknown charges. But may need to call several times since it seems the help desk is outsourced to another country.

EVGO - BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

EVGO - BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!

Please be advised that Evgo owes me the sum of $5,000.00 for the reason described herein. On 06/27/2017 I inquired to the HR manager the status of a position I recently interviewed for.

I was specifically asked by Evgo Human Resources Manager Maggie Yi to NOT take the a project/position I was considering until I heard from her. Her exact words were: I would ask that you not take this other freelance project until you hear back from us. Being the she is the human resources manager, it suggested to me I had gotten the job and was just waiting the formal details. I followed her direction and I declined the position/project from the other company I was considering.

Fast forward: I did not get the Evgo job. On checking back I have found the other position/project I had to decline was no longer available either. Thus her comment is directly responsible for literally costing me thousands of dollars. All of this is documented and can be proven.

While the project I declined was open ended and could have potentially brought unlimited work at this point I requested a fair amount of $5,000 to settle out of court.

That requested was declined on the grounds I was not technically offered a job. That's unfortunate as Evgo will be spending just as much to defend their cut throat business practices in small cl;aims court.
