Verified ReviewerAll i tried to do is open up a simple account and all Bad Customer Service from *** Broke loose
Red Flags Everywhere, Bad Customer Service, No Follow up. Attempted to open and account with Ever wise and completed app online.
Received call couple days later informing me I needed additional information to verify my address, explained that i just recently moved and gave them mail that i received in the last 30 days. Spoke with rep verbally, who told me that 2nd docs image was not good and to resubmit . Uploaded docs 3 times for me to move on to questions i had to ask everything except Blood type it's now been 4 days since i applied was told they had everything and that account would be set up or i would be contacted. Had to follow back up myself in couple days through chat , where Rep reach out to that department and was told account would be set up and that it should take another 24 hours.
No call back or update. Called again, this time was told docs received was not valid that i sent 4 days ago after giving them all my info and answering questions to verify my identity for them to tell me docs are not valid. Requested to speak with Supervisor and or Management regarding conversation on a recorded line, No one has called me to this point just keep telling me someone will call be back this is day 8.
I am over it, this place is horrible with customer service , the process itself , and following up with people that are unhappy. I would not recommend this place i see others with Cx service issues as well

Car payment information
I bought a newer car that was financed through EverWise. I hadnt received my payment booklet yet, so I called them today and found out that place I bought the car from had just sent it out and they just received it yesterday.
Sue was able to look up my information tell me how much a payment would be when it would be. I set it up with her to have it withdrawn automatically out of my checking account, and she was very very informative and very kind and very friendly.

I bought a new vehicle and had not received my payment book yet. When Sue came on the line, I explained all this to her.
She looked up my account. She helped me get an automatic payment set up to come out of my checking account so I dont have to worry about a payment book she was wonderful!!

Everwise has not and will not respond to our repeated inquiries
The truck, after 5yrs of autopayments, was to be paid off in December.
Last night, they were woken to Everwise sending a local recovery to repossess their truck!!! The tow truck driver even brought a gun. I took them to the bank the next day, and the MANAGER did not know why they stopped taking payments. We requested that he speak to folks higher than him and they also didnt know why.
For 4hrs we tried to come to a resolution, and could not other than to completely pay the truck off, pay the towing company $634 dollars to get their truck back. Now they have to somehow try and recoup the $634 for a truck that they have paid ON TIME religiously for 5yrs!!! This NEVER happened with Teachers CU, and NO communication came to them that Everwise was not getting payments and again, they dont know why.
The lack of communication, professionalism, knowledge etc was an epic failure here which lead to a VERY stressful day.
My parents have another large account at Everwise which they are going to immediately move to another bank and close out with Everwise. Extremely disappointing that elderly people have to deal with this!!!

EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in and with Everwise. They took over Teachers Credit Union, which my elderly parents (80, 82) had been with for years, didnt update their system with my parents accts per the truck payment that was AUTOMATICALLY coming out every month for 5 years with NO PROBLEMS, NO LATE FEES or anything!!!

Preferred solution: 1.) the $634 my folks had to pay to the tow company to get their truck back that they were paying on already ON TIME for 5yrs never missing a payment. 2.) an Apology for the anguish they caused to my elderly parents.

Everwise is garbage TCU was pretty decent. Thought nothing would change but the name. However this isn't the case the whole culture and treatment changed.
Considering your stance that this is subjective, we did visit the Everwise bank today, closed out the second account…. As I read the other complaints, considering your track record for treating others very similiar to our situation, I guess they “made it up too”.
We are in process of “escalating”…. And in time Everwise will see, our compliant is more than “subjective”
