- - Leak appeared 9 months after install.
- - Visit 2: four men blamed a 1/3 inch camera line.
- - Tar with a torch was applied and shingles were reinstalled.
After 9 months of installation of a Tilcor stone coated roof by this company a leak was detected through a small access panel in our master bedroom closet, the company sent over men two times, first time they did nothing as the leak worsened.
The second time they sent 4 men a one man who speaks spanish to explain what was needed. With no further communication they used the excuse that a small 1/3 of an inch camera line was seen and thus they believe caused the leak, this is nonsense.
They removed all the shingle and installed tar with a torch and reinstalled the shingle. Rain to day nothing seen but not a real rain, anyhow Robert Hanes a very snappy person at the company appears to have anger issues jumps down your throat on the phone, blames you for the leak, claims that I was a roofer, and is just disrespectful among everything else.
Instead of fixing the leak and just putting his tail between his legs, he calls and says the 5 year installation warranty is void. He is stead fast in getting you to be angry also.
Of course angry people have to get the last licks so voiding the 5 year warranty is good for business and I have turned away 5 people from this roof because of an extremely questionable installation.
Preferred solution: 5 year warranty in writing from this company
