Take advantage of the situation over state the problem and the solution

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Had 5 estimates from their competition price to fix the crack in my foundation $400. To $1000.

Their price was about $30,000.

They want to do a do a French drain on the inside and outside of my basement. Includes a very nice sales pitch that both my wife and I had to be present to hear.

I had a several cracks in the foundation at my previous home

I was given the same pitch there.

"Need a French Drain!!

"

But US waterproofing came out ànd sealed the walls from the outside for a under $1000. And I never had a problem for the next 20 years.

Went with a different company

I know this is meant for complaint notices, but I am writing to commend Everdry so that people have a balanced view of this company.

Everdry came out to do a complete waterproofing job on my 1920's hand dug basement some 20 years ago.

The had a great sales pitch and the company seemed rock solid from reviews back then.

The work was done, the people cleaned up and all was right with the world. And I had a transferable lifetime warranty!

Then I got a notice that Everdry was being sold. Well, I figured my warranty would be worth kindling. Wrong! Had a pump fail about a year later and Mike was out replacing it free of charge lickety split.

Years went by and I had a major renovation done to the house, which included foundation expansion. I was sure that at this point I was going to be out of luck on any leaks, because after all there was a legitimate excuse. Wrong again. I had a leak appear in the new section which was tied to the old section and damned if Mike didn't send John out to see what he could do. Trenching the corner and laying sealant down inside and out we both figured it was a done deal. NO CHARGE.

Well, as luck would have it, that didn't do the trick. John, Brandon & Paul just left after jackhammering out the floor under a set of stairs. Putting in new drainage tiles and a wall wrap. They drilled through the old foundation to tie the two systems together. NO CHARGE! Pics attached to show the work they did. (I was the one who did the stair tear out)

The only thing that *** me off about this company is that they keep making me WRONG! To Mike and the gang, you are a great company and your word is your bond. That is something hard to find these days! You ever need a recommendation, you just call me!

Thanks a million.

After years of increased problems with water seeping (sometimes flowing) in our basement, mainly due to hydrostatic pressure, we met with Ryan from Everdry Waterproofing. Ryan’s thorough and informative presentation convinced us that the investment of waterproofing our home was worth the expense.

Work was completed last June, exactly as scheduled over a 5 day period, by an excellent and courteous crew, and I’m pleased to report that we’ve been dry ever since. The peace of mind we now have whether at home, or away, is priceless.

With a transferable lifetime warranty and maintenance plan, we know that we can count on Everdry to be there should any other problems occur. I highly recommend Everdry!

So, how long have you owned the franchise ? By some odd coincidence, yours is the only positive comment I have been able to glean from the multitude posted to this website.

When I called for a free inspection they were very pleasant and was able to come out that evening. I was also told the inspector (I believe his name was Ted) would inspect my basement inside and out, write up his recommendation for repair, sit down and answer any questions and talk to me about repair options.

The inspector was on time and performed his inspection inside and out like I was told. He wanted to charge me $17,000.00 to tear up my basement floor perimeter and install drain tiles underneath the basement along with additional drainage in the back yard. All I have is a 3 foot crack in my basement wall!

I told him I just want him to seal the crack but he refused because he said Everdry only does work they can guarantee for life and they cant just seal a crack and guarantee it. So much for working with me on repair options they just want to suck people dry for routine repairs.

Scamming the elderly

These *** artist are going door to door, trying to scam the elderly into buying very expensive air cleaning systems that do nothing. My 94 year old grandmother had a slick, high pressure sales person talk her into making an appointment.

She cancelled the appointment and they kept calling her to the point where she felt she had to let them in to get them to stop. The sleazy sales person tried to sell her a $1500 "E-Z Breathe" machine telling her that she has mold and stale air in her basement. He didn't do any air quality tests to back this up and was trying to scam and scare her into making this purchase. I called the office to discuss their tactics and no one will call me back.

All these 4 and 5 star reviews are a scam.

They have numerous complaints on the BBB website. Special place in He$% for those that prey on the elderly!

Great Company to Work With

Had my basement waterproofed by Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin last year, and I couldn't be happier. With all the snow melting and rain we've been having out here, I expected a little seepage to happen (I was so used to it before), but nope!

Now my basement is completely dry.

As weird as it sounds, I'm half-looking forward to all the spring rainstorms in the next few months. The whole goal of my basement waterproofing purchase has been to STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE DARN BASEMENT!

It's been working great so far, so I'm very excited. Thanks to the whole team, they really did a nice job.

Everdry Complaints & Rip Off

Satisfied Customer. We had Everdry Basement Waterproofing waterproof our

entire basement.

A several years earlier, another company did the same thing but did not drain the water out of the walls that had built up inside. My biggest complaint with the other company is – I had mold growing on the walls. Hello!! But Everdry Basement Waterproofing seems to have done it right this time.

We are very pleased with their work. The crew was professional, polite, and clean. They answered all our questions. Everyone spoke English.

Overall, we are now very happy.

Thank you Everdry

Basement Waterproofing. Without you guys, we would be lost.

Everdry Waterproofing Expensive and persistant!! But it worked.

Not initially pleased with the salesman, a bit too assumptive and pushy for my liking, but I was patient. The only reason I agreed to go with Everdry is that a family member raved about them.

The price was a LOT more than I thought, about $3,000 more than I was originally expecting, but I was able to talk them down a little bit, so I went ahead and scheduled the work. They were working on my basement a few weeks later.

I must say I was quite reassured when I met the team working with us. The foreman and crew were VERY friendly and knowledgeable. They walked me through every step of the process, at the beginning and end of each day, and answered all my (dumb) questions patiently.

They wrapped up a few days later, and the place looked great. There was still some dust leftover, but I knew how hard they were tried to contain it while they were working so I didn't mention it, a swiffer and 2 hours took care of it...

Pleased so far, I have a dry basement as promised (God knows if I didn't they'd be hearing about it!) But I understand things happen. Worth the extra cost, I'd certainly recommend them.

Everdry Basement Waterproofing - Complaints & Reviews

My Choice Is Everdry Basement Waterproofing! My grandfather got water in his basement for a year or so, and he wanted to get estimates and see exactly what it would take and how much it would cost.

We had Permaseal, US Waterproofing, Safeguard, & Everdry Waterproofing out for estimates. My grandfather really didn't like any of the solutions except for Everdry's. They were more expensive, but more knowledgable and the solutions worked. It has been 7 years now, and not a leak ever since.

Now, I have a house of my own, and my first and only call was Everdry Basement Waterproofing.

The price might be more, but it is worth it 100%. My house is my largest investment!

EVERDRY WATERPROOFING IS A LIFESAVER!

Had my basement waterproofing some years back, and and grateful I had them out! They've given me the dry basement I always dreamed about.

The crew was polite and friendly, and I was impressed at their work ethic, and how considerate they were of my wishes. They were clean, and well organized! The best part? After they were done, they stood by their product! I can call them anytime and get a friendly answer if I have a question, or if I need them to come out and take a look at something.

Thank you so much for everything, Everdry!

You have to wonder why there are 10 'thumbs down' to positive comments about this company. I certainly hope that there aren't insipid agendas at play here (rolls eyes), as there are too many impressionable people in this world who believe everything they are fed from the internet.

Sometimes negative reviews are just nonsense, people.

Sometimes positive ones are too, I suppose.

It's certainly possible to royally screw up a job for a client, of course, but with the sheer number of successful installations this company has contracted, you'd think that the internet would be awash with horrid reviews, and they'd drown in them.

But there aren't. There seem to be the same forces posting different places in an attempt to make what sounds like a large company look bad, when it appears to me that their reputation speaks far more positive volumes. My local Everdry has an A+ BBB rating, and BBB archives shows that it has always been rated A+.

Do people think that every company which does high volume business could possibly have nothing but glowing reports on the internet about it - valid or otherwise?

Use your HEAD!

I certainly hope there is no one that naive reading this - and if they are, let this be a lesson. One final note. This site allows commentary to be posted IMMEDIATELY, and ANONYMOUSLY. No vetting or moderating of any kind.

What kind of way is that to arbitrate fairness?

Happy everything worked out for you, Bfarkas! :) Add two more to the Everdry fan club!
