installed summer 2018. After install had to have company come out and clean up rocks out of my yard, Tar off my AC unit.

Less than a week after install Pump starts alarming and wont shut off. Service called, they stated "it would be 3 weeks til a supervisor could come check to see if we needed a service call". After a number of heated calls they sent someone out to service it. the replaced a wire on the battery back up system.

that worked for 2 days. Next call they came out with fewer heated calls to fix their equipment. replaced the whole unit and Battery. Unit started working after that.

A few weeks later we noticed that the installers the vent pipe to our sump had been removed and the whole to outside was now being used for the moisture fan device. Now December is here and my basement is flooded. Tomorrow a Super visor will be out to access the situation.

One Problem after another with this company. Look for service elsewhere.

Dishonest and money hungry

They send sales reps out to scare you into buying. If you wait a few days they will call back and offer to save thousands off of original pitch.

They put in ez breath (cheap dehumidifier) to hold you to the deal and wont install waterproofing for months. They dont really have a service crew so you will wait forever for service. Takes 3 or 4 trips to get it right. Takes forever to get a callback for service and they write their own google reviews.

And they will leave your property a mess.

They only want your money. Not a morsel of ethics within the company.

I worked for everdry waterproofing back in the early 90s. They paid us a whopping $42 a day for manual labor; foremen made 50.

Don't expect much from a crew that's making very minimal wages. One key problem to their system, is that they do not always dig down to the footer on the outside. I believe that this is essential in maintaining a waterproof solution to the positive side. The System that they use on the inside is actually pretty decent.

It is the same system that almost everybody uses. There are better solutions out there, but they can be costly.

All in all, you get what you pay for. What people in the Midwest never consider is the clay soil produces a great amount of hydrostatic pressure against the walls, necessitating digging all the way to the footer and providing drain channels, in addition to a waterproof barrier or membrane.

I can't say yet if the waterproofing worked as they just finished 2 days ago and it hasn't rained. My complaint as of now is the mess they left.

The two drains they put in the end of one turns up and the end of the other is covered with dirt. The workers broke the wires on the door alarm and didn't tell me and then they didn't plug in the elec pump just left the system working on the battery back up pump. Then they jack hammered the cement step at the bottom of the steps into the basement and jury rigged a step to replace it. Then back to the outside, they didn't reconnect the ground wire to the satellite dish cable, they got tar smudges on the house siding in several places.

They didn't get the fence back where it was to keep the dogs from getting out. One of the crawlspace wells the dirt slopes into it instead of away.

They left rocks and chunks of cement in the yard that will have to be raked before it can be mowed. I also found a small handful of screws laying at the edge of the yard and several pieces of cardboard and blue tape.

I Finally Finished my Basement, Woo Hoo!

I've lived in my home for almost 15 years now, and the basement is something we've been simply "living with" all this time. Of course, like any other basement, it rains and you get water. We only used it for laundry, and that was something we just learned to live with.

Last year, my daughter and I became ill, and couldn't figure out why. After a visit to the doctor, they said we were showing signs of exposure to mold, and that was the cause. We had some mold experts come out right away and they confirmed we had a large amount of mold in our basement (go figure!)

Long story short, we had a few companies out, and Everdry Waterproofing surpassed them all. The salesman was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The guys were out a few weeks later to waterproof our basement and get rid of the mold!

I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out, and would recommend these guys to anyone, and have to half of my family! We've been dry and clean since then, and the system is working great. Better yet, it even SMELLS cleaner, with the ventilation fan we had them install. Awesome experience!!!!
