Cheated me out of floor tickets and sent me balcony tickets worth $100 less per ticket
This "company" (which seems to be run by one guy named Randy Kuschner, who refused at first to give us his name) cheated us pretty badly. We paid $200 per ticket (expensive for us) to see Taylor Swift in Indianapolis on July 29th. I ordered 3 tickets in December 2010 as a X-mas gift for my 10 year-old daughter. The tickets were in the lower level, the one just above the floor. The e-mail I received promised the tickets by April. We didn't get them in April. My e-mail inquiry was answered not by this company that sold us the tickets, but by the larger umbrella outfit, who assured us they'd be to us on time. About 3 weeks before the concert, we got a call from this guy Randy, who got my husband on the line when I wasn't home. He convinced my husband that he could give us an "upgrade" for free, and proceeded to tell him that we would be only one level up from where we were originally supposed to sit, in the front row right by the stage. Since my husband was unaware of the arrangements I'd made, and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about, he agreed based on lies. He was told we'd be in the next level up, right near the stage, "closer" to Taylor Swift. He convinced Steve that because we had tickets "on the floor" that the seats would be level and my daughter would not be able to see well. This is not true -- the tickets I bought were not on the "floor" and thus they were raised seats. The tickets arrived two weeks before the concert, while I was out of the country. I arrived home just before the concert, which involved a 6-hour drive for us, along with an overnight stay. Also, there was no written or e-mail confirmation following the phone conversation that detailed the change or what we could do if we were not happy with the tickets. We didn't realize until we got to the stadium that we'd been moved from the lower level to the top balcony level, TWO levels up from the lower level seats we'd bought. I knew from my previous research, and from research since, that these tickets are worth far less than the ones we bought. ($100 per ticket) The worst was when we e-mailed them to complain and ask for our money back. We got a call from Randy himself, who was about as rude as he could have been. He consistently interrupted both my husband and me as we spoke with him. The only thing he did not deny was my point that the tickets we got were worth far less than the ones we'd paid for. When I told him his interrupting and his rudeness was unacceptable behavior and that I needed to speak with his supervisor, he made the sound "click" (he actually said "click") and then "hello?" When I asked him if this was the same guy, he said yes, that it was his business, so he was the supervisor. So I asked him for his name, which he refused to give me. He became abusive again, so I ended the call. He called back, asking what we wanted, and telling my husband that a complete refund was impossible. He did finally give my husband his full name. At that point I was so angry (mostly about his behavior on the phone, but also about being cheated) that I could no longer speak with him. My husband told him that we would be contacting our lawyer and that he could call back the next day. He of course did not call back. Avoid these guys like the plague. They have not heard the last from us, either.
I bought 2 tickets for the mayweather/pacquiao fight at the end of December from this company, i paid $700 per ticket...which is a lot of money for me and my husband, I have tried to get in touch with the company with several e-mails and they haven't got back to me, I have now got in touch with my solicitor who told me to get a refund through my bank (luckily I paid by credit card!!) But i would advise anyone to avoid this company like the plague!! I'm so disappointed!! It was going to be the fight of the century...but luckily we're still going to Sin City!!!
