Hello,

I am absolutely mortified that I have to write this and can't believe this was my experience at Burwood Events Cinema. I do not frequent cinemas, so when I do, it is a special experience as it is for a movie that I truly want to see. I booked V Class tickets for a 9:20 pm session on Wednesday, the 4th of September, to watch The Crow. Upon arrival, I purchased my drinks, and the young girl (tall) was already being so rude and disregarding towards me and my husband. I didn't react and dismissed it. I asked her, 'Which direction do we walk in for the cinema?' She rolled her eyes and pointed in the direction we should walk in.

My husband and I proceeded to walk to our designated seating area that we ordered and we could not believe what we saw. A mess that looked like it had not been cleaned in days - it stunk like rubbish. Popcorn was everywhere, drinks and rubbish scattered all over. I paid money for this! My husband went to speak to the same lady to ask if she could clean up the area. She walked down with the worst attitude and I said to her calmly, 'We can't sit here with this mess,' and what happened next, I am sure, will shock you - she told me, and I quote, 'Clean it yourself and don't take that tone with me.' My husband said to her calmly, 'She has no tone,' and then the huffing and puffing to clean the little mess began. I did not react as I did not want to upset other paying patrons. The smell of rubbish was disgusting and ruined the whole experience. If you have staff members that don't like their job and do not want to be there, then get rid of them - what are you paying them for?

I would like a formal response within 24 hours, and I would like to know how this individual will be reprimanded. I demand my money back for the disgusting service and conditions I was subjected to, and I implore you to look at CCTV footage of the state of the cinema when we arrived.
