Been sold a car that has major problems and promises from the salesman that the premium guarantee is taken everywhere
Bought car in February, august car started acting up, had full service and problem got worse, car totally undriveable, RAC picked up, spent 3 weeks in Evan halshaw Coatbridge, said car was fixed and , still had to PAY!, 15 miles on motorway and exhaust explodes! RAC came again, turbo pipe not even connected. Been for MOT today and major defects on the car.

My car was clamped as it wasnt taxed, I didnt get reminder as car hadnt been registered to me. I had to take evening and following morning off work as this happened at 4.30pm and I couldnt get to post office in time.
Sales Manager at Cumbernauld road branch was very off hand eventually agreeing to cover the cost of the £100 fine I had to pay plus £25 for a new V5.
He didnt think he should have to pay anything towards loss of wages or inconvenience, but after a week £205 was paid into my bank.
I would not recommend this branch as Ive had two major issues that Ive had to fight to get sorted. The first one costing me over £300 and now this, its not what I expected from this company as my friend (who used to work for them) recommended them, but as she worked in Edinburgh and left the company three years ago I can only assume this was not the experience she expected me to have
I am too busy and rely on my car too much to have unsupporting sales staff, they are quick to take your money

I live alone, lead an extremely busy life and rely heavily on my car, for that reason I try to buy from reputable trustworthy dealers
I bought this car in December 2022. A few months later the filter on the car failed leaving me with a discounted bill of over £300 which I felt was unfair as the car had only done 40000 miles.
However I was informed by experts that it was how the car had been driven prior to me buying it that had caused the problem.
Yesterday I came from working in Dunfermline to pick up my dog and go to vet in Bonnybridge before heading back to work, however I was only home 15 minutes when I found a man putting a clamp on my car as he claimed i wasnt the registered owner. When I objected that I hadnt received notification I was advised to take it up with the dealership.
I had them to get my sister to come over from Newlands to take me to vets and also had to call my work to tell them I couldnt come back in until this had been sorted out. I was supposed to be working till 8 last night and didnt get back to office at 5.30, I also lost another two hours this morning.
On top of this I was charged £25 for a V5, £100 to remove the clamp and I put £30 of petrol in my sisters car.
The sales manager finally agreed to pay back £125, after claiming it was my fault. He has refused to cover my lost wages or my sisters petrol costs
I will never use this dealership again as their attitude and attention to details is shocking.
