Construction lawyer provided incompetent legal support

I hired Evan Williams, a construction lawyer, who worked in Auburn, California to file a legal suit against a wood floor manufacturing company in the LA area. My new wood floors were separating and cracking just months after installation. Boards separated far enough to place 2 quarters side by side in the cracks. Mr Williams managed to drag this out over a year and when we went to court after 10's of thousands of dollar's in legal fees our case was thrown out because he filed suit under the wrong statute of the law. He was totally incompetent in court and I was embarrassed that he was my lawyer. He has since moved to Roseville, Ca.
