I let 12 years go by and figured no national company could operate on deception this long. I was wrong. What they do is give you a quote based on a application that you put in, which includes how many miles you will be driving. Then they ask for a deposit to get started. Once they have your deposit, they write you and tell you you have to prove your mileage driving expectation. I asked how I could prove it. So following their recommendation I...

Customer service is rude and unsympathetic. Called for a tow. They are supposed to cover $75. Charged me an extra $35 to have my car towed 1.8 miles!! When I asked how it costs over $100 to tow less than 2 miles I was told its b/c the tow driver needed gas!!!! What ?!!!!! When I asked to speak with someone else to file a complaint he routed me back to the automated system. Do yourself a favor and get AAA

I was hit in my vehicle parked at a curb by a bus. I was out of work for back issues and employed a lawyer. To date Esurance Has made repeated calls to my new and old job including harassing my father at a company we worked at together. Further still they made me take a day off my brand new job to be questioned on the record by their SIU person. Now they want to give me two days notice to testify under oath about my accident. I was in a PARKED...

I purchased car insurance from them,I was asked to sign the acceptance form, and right after I did, a so called insurance specialist came on the line and informed me that they found a incident that did not show up on the original report. My insurance went from 158 to 244 within seconds. I had already paid my premium. They are crooks! Please do not get your car insurance from them!

They charge you a cancelation fee of $50 if you leave them. Absurd. I never signed a contract. This is theft.

I was hit and over and over again they told me how I Have PLPD SO BASICALLY "deal with it in ur own." No advice as to how to go about getting the other driver that hit me how to fix my car. I guess they don't know EITHER!!!!

I have been with esurance for a year. Prior to joining them I was with another large company. In the 30 years I have been driving I have never needed to put in a claim. I was paying a premium to esurance for comprehensive and collision. I recently visited Long Island, NY and suffered some damage in a parking lot. The culprit did not leave contact information. I put the claim into esurance. They request my body shop put in an estimate and I...

Last week on 11/27 I called Esurance Roadside Assistance at 1:39pm because I locked my keys up in the car, eta was 4:47, I waited until about 5:30 to call back only to find out the information given to the tow company was wrong. The address given was wrong and the telephone number was wrong. I ended up being 3 hours and 25 minutes late for work. Today 12/4 I called at 6:30 because I needed a boost (battery died). Called back at 9:45 because I...

on 10/22/2015 I purchased a homeowners policy from Esurance, ( I kept a copy of my application) and on 10/20/2016 I had a sump pump fail and water backed up in my basement. I called Esurance, and turned in my claim. 3 days later I was told that I didn't purchase the water backup rider. I sent in a copy of my application,. showing I did, along with the facts that I was quoted a price by esurance with the rider and its the same price I have paid...

I signed up for a quote and was happy with the amount, so I paid the 1st month's payment. I just so happened to log onto my account to check my payment date and saw that they had added $250 to my monthly payment!!! No warning, no email, no call - NOTHING. They were going to deduct almost $390 from my bank account with NO WARNING, if I hadn't checked for the payment date. I immediately got them on the phone, and they transferred me to this nasty...

Received a quote, verified by my driving record (at least that's what the website says during the process) and purchased a 6 month policy, paying all 6 at once with what I believed was a good rate. Within a week I get an email saying I will be billed an extra $40 at the end of the month. I called customer service, and that 40 turned into 100, which I would be billed on the first of the month to cover the increase for the 6 month period. They...
