The quote was way out of my budget so I tried to stop the presentation at that point. He continued to offer additional deals and discounts but I still said no. Then he tried the phony call to the factory to get the factory direct price. It was still too high, but I...

I took my car in for an inspection, referred there by the insurance company. After the inspection, we decided to keep our car. They where told by the insurance company to put it back together. So they did in a less than professional way. I had a part left on my front...

They tried to pull the exact same con game on me as in many of the other reviews on this site: Before the visit, they promised a one year lock-in on the quote, but once they were here, the good price was good for only 3 days. The representative claimed to be some sort of...

A simple tap-replacement job took these people a week to complete. On two occasions they were several hours late to their scheduled appointments. They were quick in the beginning to give me an attractive quote, which I confirmed, but when the plumber showed up the...
Zillow - Using the wrong comps
by PissedConsumer1577200 #15772002.8
There are houses that sold on my street recently but you would never use those as comps. WHY!!!!
Instead you use the comps in other school districts that are not close by. (Zestimate is a joke)

We started building last year Sept 2018. I had a bad feeling from the get go but was to eager to start building. I had a set budget of about $365k that well went through their estimate process. It was a little over than what i wanted to pay but i went with it. Next...

A woman came to do our estimate on 5/23/2019. It is over 5 weeks later and only just received the estimate today. The estimate says almost nothing. It's simply a price. No explanation or breakdown of costs and materials. I finally received this quote after calling FO...
Roto Rooter - Paid for inspection, promised bid, haven't delivered
by ForthrightGar249 #15311042.0
On 3/12/19 I paid $150 for Roto-Rooter to do a sewer line video inspection. I was promised a repair bid, but they never followed through.
I followed up with numerous texts to the technician, who apologized and promised to get me a bid (from his supervisor, apparently) every time. I never got a bid. I spoke to the Portland area customer service line twice, and both times was promised a phone call to let me know the status of the bid.
I was never called back. Huge waste of time and money.
