I first called Estes about my heat. They said to replace a gas valve would be $790.

The next morning, I called and told them I thought that was too much. I called Premier heating they came out for free to give an estimate but said Estes had left the unit in pieces and they couldn' t give an estimate until it was put back together.

Anyway after 3 weeks Estes came back with the $85 gas valve and spent exactly 30 minutes (i timed it) and wanted $609. I refused to pay that amount. I told him to take me to court.

I felt $1200 an hour was too much.

Other reviews also say they are greedy, and overcharge.

There are dozens of heat contractors and I suggest you call someone else. These people try to get rich quick

Hector and Jordan arrived at our home to do the work early today and promptly went to work. They installed the replacement pieces quickly and efficiently.

They left the worksite clean and everything working perfectly. I would definitely use them again.

Marcus and Zachary came out to our home and installed a new furnace and ac unit. Both were very courteous, professional and very knowledgeable! They confirmed what they were here to do and were very thorough in completing the job. They explained everything from beginning to end with us and checked to see if we had any questions. They cleaned up thoroughly after the job was complete and asked us to check behind them to be sure we were pleased with their work. They are both a great asset to Estes and job well done. Estes calls me at least twice a month to remind me to schedule a routine service call. My system was checked August '15 and they have called regularly ever since then to "remind" me to have a routine service call.

I find these phone calls to be very annoying. I have an appointment tomorrow to have the routine service check, but I'm concerned that they will continue to call and nag at me. I explained to the caller one time that I am not living in that house now. I'm living 50 miles away.

I told her that when I want routine service, I'd call them, but the phone calls continued. The representative calls me on my cell phone when I'm driving ! This is very dangerous.

I'm going to have a wreck trying to answer the phone. I want Estes to stop calling me.

Estes never repaired my issue with my air conditioner and won't refund my money. I offered to pay service call fee even though Estes 'repair' never, ever worked...they declined.

Contract is a trap...protects them even though shotty work product.

Customer service sucks - amateurs scared of management, repair men double talk and talk fast to try to upsell and management is non responsive and defensive. Go elsewhere for air/hesting service.
