Warranty repairs scam/False Advertising

Estero Bay Chevrolet - Warranty repairs scam/False Advertising

We broke down near this dealership. Being out of state, new to leasing, unfamiliar with how to DEMAND that they uphold the bumper to bumper warranty on the broken vehicle, we were overly tired, hungry, and they simply waited until we were very tired puppets and got my husband to sign a new lease, telling him he was not getting back on the road any other way.

3 days later they still said our truck wasn’t fixed, a mystery-which is how they talked us into the new truck and lease.

We were not even 5 miles down the road and pulled over and tried to figure out what just happened. One lawyer said the current administration has made it very difficult for consumers to sue/collect over car fraud . Also our new truck cannot be registered in our state, they did not give us the paperwork. Our new truck is false advertising as has a z-71 sticker on it, is not with this package.

Called GM, no one will help. AND if regular people even educated people can all read and understand all those legal terms on the leases, yea, most of us don’t know what we are signing. Not an excuse but if you think you got the friends and family discount, go run your vin number at the dealership. They can pocket that $ and unsuspecting consumers are NOT getting their savings, they have a shady way of getting the approval...anyway, did your family/friends think they got that discount ?

Better check. I suspect there are thousands of people like us
