They brought this guy with them who wanted to buy all my stuff for short money. Found out later he owns at remount auctions and his wife owns estate sale specialists. WHAT A CONFLICT of INTERESTS. Don't hire these ripp off companies estate sale specialists, or tremont auctions.

  • Ellen didn't price all items; high-end items were priced low.
  • Good items sold for little and I paid thousands to clean out.

Ellen didn't want to bother pricing all items in my parents house. They only price high end stuff and the prices were low at that.

Of course all the good stuff sold for short money and I had to pay Ellen thousands to clean out the house after the sale. Not a good biz model, for the customer I made no money from the sale. These people should be shut down. Don't know how they are in business.

They just started company and have no experience. Her husband Brett downer is an acutioneer so it is a conflict of interest.

They keep the good items for themselves. Beware

  • They ran a sale for my father with some expensive items.
  • They claimed to have sold them for little money, not worth their value.

They ran a sale for my father and there were some very expensive items in the house. They claimed to have sold them for short money not anything what they were worth.

They ripped me off what a bunch of jerks, don't use them. I should call the police on these guys and maybe they would stop doing what they do. Ellen the owner is one slick talker who says one thing and does another. Don't trust this flash in the pan estate sale girl.

They would not know a Picasso if it hit them in the face. They would probably just throw it out.

Estate Sale Specialists is a joke

  • Owners run the auction and price items high, suggesting conflict.
  • They allegedly give friends access to top items before the public.

I would be careful hiring this company. The owners have an auction and many times buy items prior to the sale or prices items too high so they end up in their auction.

Clearly a conflict of interest. Also they arrange it for their friends to get the best stuff before the general public.

My parents had them do a sale and the high end items went missing...they were told after the fact they were going to auction.. which in turn resulted in them getting a higher percentage.

I'm pretty sure this is not common practice. I would not trust them
