In defense of...

Yes, Michael had worked with Trump Institute in the past and other related businesses - even authored a book that was used during this time. He has not ever been sued for fraud, and was never fired by the name mentioned, and nobody is "after him". I found this absolutely ridiculous, which compels me to write and post this as a response to this above post - What is wrong with people like this person who can write such untrue, blatant aggressive mean things about such a nice person who has helped many people through out the years by making up things that aren't true?

Attorney Potter ripped us off. Sold us "paper"

We attended a so called "wealth preservation" seminar, that Michael Potter was supposedly an expert in.

He told us that he has helped thousands of people avoid lawsuits and judgements and talked for so long as to how he and his companies were always sued and never cared.

Anyway we paid our money and attended the seminar.

Everything seemed to be good.

After we left and went back home we showed our attorney the paperwork.

He explained that this was nothing special and is worth $2000-not the $7,400 we paid.

In addition to that some of the paperwork was done wrong.

When we called Potter's company, we always received conflicting instructions-his wife said one thing, his assistant "who's been in the business for years" said another.

finally we gave up and hired another attorney to do it properly.

We asked for half our money back-they would never get back to us.

These people are bad-My wife then researched this man and found out he is under investigation for money laundering or some such thing.

Got cheated and lied to by Potter

I saw an ad for Michael Potter's "wealth preservation" systems.

I was always interested in this since I had had a couple of frivolous lawsuits filed against me over the recent years.

Anyways I spoke to Potter who basically sold me a load of lies.

He said that he would create a system that in the event of a judgement they wouldn't be able to collect.

In addition to that there was an IRS ruling that they would have to pay the taxes on that judgement even if they didn't collect!!

This "sold" me

unfortunately this was a complete fabrication - as I found out the hard way.

they did get a Judgement and they did collect.

the Marshall came round and took our cash out of our business, they seized bank accounts in an LLC that we had.

This man is a complete liar-If I has the money to I would sue him, but I don't.

Fraud ripped off by attorney potter

We went to Michael Potters wealth preservation seminar after paying him $8000.

He said he worked with Trump.

It turns out he used that name illegally.

The work he did was a complete sham and didn't protect our assets from anyone.

It turns out the IRS is after him, and he has been sued for fraud several times.

He was even fired by Cort Christy for fraud a Las Vegas businessman.

Anyway after we did the paperwork he asked us for another $3000 to "finalize" what he did for us.

He said this was a guarantee to protect us from frivolous lawsuits.

It Wasnt!!!!

Amazing. Some stranger can go on the internet and defame someone with an intent to hurt them & their reputation.

They can be anonymous and make things up just to hurt you & then put it out there on the internet as if it's true. Pathetic and sad.
