If I can save 1 person from a situation like mine I'll be happy. I'm from Canada ordered a game from them and got my 51 dollars removed from my account.

The next day they tried to say they never got the money and I had to send that amount again. I sent them my bank statement and they changed there answer to I only paid 30 and owed them an extra 19 dollars which I questioned on the online chat. I showed proof of bank statement. I finally asked for it to be cancelled, and they guy refused to send me a confirmation email and said I can take his word for it.

I put up a fight against the employee and after 20 min they finally gave me my email....said it was a 24-hour wait to get it back. I did get the money added back in my account but I'll never use thisnservice again. As well the 19 dollars they told me I owed as per there website states that its included in the total price. The man Sam I spoke to refused to give me any other means of contact if I didn't get my money back.

They tried to blame my bank and stated I'd have to take it up with them. They tried to RIP ME OFF only reason I got what I wanted was due to argue with the guy... Please don't ever send more to them. It's a 100% scam.

They will try to scam you for additional money through an email with links to pay by that have random names not the company name.

They had hidden fees/contridict what there website policies say. Also been reading about them and some places say it has a 2 4/5 rating and the products you receive are defective.

Neva received my order at all

First of all, I feel very bummed writing this because I've been a costumer for a long time and I always prefer Estarland over gamestop or amazon. I recommended the company several times to friends in the past, but things seem to be changing.

I always had good trade in experiences with them until recently. I shipped two trade in orders on the same day, one with a Dreamcast and another one with a PS2 and all my PS2 game collection. After a really long time I got an email saying my trade in for the Dreamcast was processed, but I never got one of the PS2 order. After 2 months or so I got in contact with them about it and they said they were gonna look for it. The next day or so, I got in contact again, the guy asked for a tracking number (which I lost unfortunately) and the order was cancelled right away.

This doesn't make sense because both orders were shipped at the exact same time, how come one was received but the higher value one wasn't? The order that was cancelled is # 644****.

Unfortunately I lost the tracking number in the mess when I moved to a new apartment, so I can't do much anymore other than stop buying at Estarland.

I've been shopping estarland for about a year and a half now and other then one instance when I came into the store with a rather large ($300+) transaction of games I wanted to sell I love it. After being told by a new (and yes, rather air headed) employee who promised me a manager who would be able to handle it within the hour was told 3 hours later said manager decided not to come in that day.

I opted for a check to be mailed to me the next day which wasn't sent until almost 3 weeks later only after I had to call customer service. The trade in values are amazing, a mind boggling selection of games and always a really great selection of gear, collectibles and merch.

Their website states that when you request a cash-out on your trade-in (70% cash from the credit), that it will take 4-6 weeks to process and send to you via PayPal. It's been over six weeks now, and I still haven't received my money. On the final day of the six week period, the customer service rep informed me that I would receive my money that day.

I didn't.

They're dancing around it and are very shady. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. It's extremely unfortunate. Don't be a victim. Seek out other websites do your trade-ins through. Avoid Estarland!

I keep reading all these complaints about estarland but i have a different story .i have been dealing with for about a year and they always ship my orders in a timely fashion, they are also package very well.i also will say that i had a few things go wrong, but they always took care of it .i would say there costumer service is great they do everything they can to make things right.i will continue to do business with them in the future most of there prices cant be beat . I live near eStarlands retail location and use to shop there all the time. After a while I noticed the people that use to work there left and they were replaced by space cadet dorks. I bought and original Xbox game. When I opened it it was the wrong game. The location is not very pleasant and the folks there aren't that nice. EStarland is owned by Connected Wire Inc.

When I looked this up I could not find this much about Connected Wire Inc.

It sounds kinda fishy

I will not be doing business with eStarland again.

They have changed drastically in the past 3 years.

I had to learn the hard way about this company. They seem okay as long as your are buying from them. But never trade in your consoles or they will rip you off!

I traded in several consoles to this company and they took 5 weeks to give me credit.

Plus after a whole month went by ... i got pissed and threaten them with a legal action. Finally they got scared and sent me my trade in credit.

I recommend never trading in your video game systems to estarland.

These people will scam you on trade ins. I will never do business with them again.

I've been waiting on a cash out for nearly 4 weeks. Original processing was 1-2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks, and got a response saying they were working on it and would send it out immediately. Fast forward 4 days, same response. The following week, same dialogue.

I call back today and ask to speak with the head of the department, and she pretends to put me on hold while she looks for him, but lies and says "he's usually in a meeting at this time of day."

Very vague, and very shady.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I have so far completed 4 orders with eStarland. My deliveries are always fast, the products are all clean and in great condition, and their selection and prices cannot be beat for retro games.

My products arrive well packed and each item is sealed, presumably after they clean them, not even a bit of dust is on anything. I've purchased retro games from some local retailers and occasionally get something that doesn't work or is scratched up yet is still being sold. At eStarland, I am never worried that something will not work.

I have yet to have any problems and all of the items seem like they were checked over very well before sale to insure this. Extremely satisfied and will continue to do business with them.

What a bunch of ***. Their inventory, prices, and quality of merchandise is so *** good and better than any other retro game store.

Seriously. I went to their store, bought some insanely awesome and hardcore games like Mega Man and Contra, and all of a sudden I was a bajillion times manlier. I grew a full beard right there on the spot, my biceps grew to the size of grapefruits and the hair on my chest is like steel wool. Jesus Christ monkey balls this store is the ***.

I placed an international order (I'm at Monterrey, Mexico, I live like 4-5 hrs from Texas).

My order was processed on 04/10 but as today 06/18 haven ' t received. I've sent so far 4 e-mails with no answer.

I decided to call them and they tell me that unfortunately, since is an International order, no tracking number was provided... what? First they told me to wait 20 business days. I waited. Then they told me to wait 45 days. I waited. After this, they told me to wait 2 months and a half (due date 06/25). As of today 06/30, the order haven´t arrived and they haven´t answered any of my past 6 mails.

I understand that due customs the order can get delayed but I can ' t believe there is no way to track the order, what if it is already lost or delivered to someone else? I have to wait 4-5 months so they're going to tell me to wait another couple months? I was surprised they only charged $6 for the shipping and handling, however, I wouldn't mind paying $39 for s&h like on ebgames and receive my order on 3 days THATS RIGHT, on ebgames I received my international order on 3 days.

If you are an international customer beware (specially if you live overseas).

Disappointed customer.

eStarland contacted me about an ad that I had placed on Craig's list. I was selling wholesale through a drop shipper. They wanted to buy all I had. We are not talking about one game but several.

After the items were dropped shipped to them from China, they took around two weeks to go through the entire shipment. We kept asking for an update, none came until after the jobber we were dealing with paid the seller. Two days later eStarland said that they were returning the merchandise because it was not in English.

They could have told me up front with the first game but did not. They have given me no information about the return so that I can verify that they actually did so that I can contact the jobber to see where I go from here.

As far as I know, they kept the games and I am out thousands, yes, thousands of dollars. They have given me nothing to prove otherwise.
