I am a licensed cosmetologist and have use Essie in my salon, setting a client who did not want to use the gel lamp wanted me to try out the GelEssie product sold at Cvs. she said she was having problem with the coverage after spending $26 on it.
I did try it purchased it two different shades yes one red one plum and I agree both colors after following exact instructions are transparent and very uneven it does stay on for at least 13 days but the next time I tried four coats of color and then your topcoat still same issue. Not sure what the problem is because we are definitely following exact instructions.
Like I said, I tried social media no response from Customer Service just that they were happy.
I contacted them. I did send pictures regarding the transparency of the product.

Hello. I have been a nail teck for 38 years.
I started to use the Essie gel couture polish. I purchased about 20 bottles. To start my clients loves ir. Definitely held great.
However, within a few weeks ALL of their nails haven soft - feeling and weak ! Now I am no longer using this product amd I wmat my money refunded !!
They are suffering now with soft weak nails and are miserable !
I purchased all of them at Queen Beauty stores on Colgate at in Phila Pa
