I had to go in and start asking to take her off my case. I was going through a horrible divorce at the same time and was at risk of losing my home. Once the check was finally at the Labor Commisioner’s Office, she went in and took my check and cashed it without my endorsement....told me the Cashiers check is being held for week and that she’ll mail me her hand written check (so yet another hold) and was going to deduct the $25 to mail my check from my money, despite me saying I’d pick it up....bc she’s once again “out of the office”. Her “office” is in her backyard by the way.
I agreed to accept a lower amount to settle after judgement only bc I needed the money by sept 20th to close my refinance.
