But there is no excuse forvthe damage done to the L rear door or the 2:rear wuartetvpanels. I have contacted BBB in regards to this matter Of course there is always another route that can be taken.

Cons:

Tow from Normandale Manor Apts

AI Highlights
  • Tow on 5/22/16 at 10:53 pm for parking over white stripes.
  • Damage includes dented rear quarters, back door gash, chipped paint, long scratch to bumper.

Car was towed 5/22/16 @10:53pm. I accept responsibility for being parked too far over into the white striped area.

The damage done to my car far out weighs what the fee ($319.00) cost me. Dented 2 rear quarter panels deep gash into the back door and bent/ wrinkled the metal, chipped paint L.rear wheel panel, long scratch from there to the bumper. Will be contacting the BBB Fort Worth to file a complaint against Eric's Tow and VSF operator12532VSF.

I am not denying that I was wrong, just that the tow truck driver did not have to act like a complete ***. Thank you for a place to vent.

Towing scandal, wrongfully towing cars and charging outrageous fees

AI Highlights
  • Stone Lake apartments in Grand Prairie towed our car and charged $300.
  • We were treated rudely.
  • Neighbors report similar wrongful tows.

My husband and I live at Stone Lake apartments in Grand Prairie and had our car wrongfully towed. Not only were we charged an outrageous fee of $300, but we were treated very rudely, and as if we had done something wrong, or criminals.

After speaking with neighbors we heard several accounts of residents wrongfully having their cars towed. We tried contacting our front office but unfortunately we got the same horrible customer service we were receiving from the tow company. After the whole ordeal we got the feeling maybe something illegal was going on with this towing company and the apartment complex (family ties).

Anyone that has the unfortunate opportunity of dealing with Stone Lake apartments and Erics towing please report. thank you.

Cons:
  • Very unhappy

Erics towing and the apartments spilt the fees! A 300.00 tow is ridiculous.

Eric Towing also towed my car illegally from an office building. There was no warning.

I parked my car there because my battery died, I came back to check on it the next day. There was no sign when I packed the car but when I went to get my car it was gone and a signed was erected.

I have not gotten my car. I am getting a lawyer to fight my case.

This is so wrong and someone has to put a stop to this...

Rip off by enforcement no parking lot

AI Highlights
  • Tow from Blockbuster lot in Arlington; charge was $233.30.
  • Tow firm: Eric's Towing Co.; no-parking signs posted.
  • The reviewer is unhappy with the charge.

Hi My name is Jose L. Carranza Live in 2906 Buena Vista Dr. Arlington TX 76010 Email catalino1903@***.net.

On Friday 08-30-08 our family Vehicle was towed from the blockbuster store on pioneer and I-360 in Arlington TX. By Eric's towing Co. located at 7084 E. Kennedale Pkwy kennedale TX 76060.

This happened while we went into the Blockbuster store for a few minutes. Although this lot had the non parking permitted recently put on. We did not noticed that. However my complain is about the charge the Erics Towing gave us of $233.30, living us without option of handling this better.

I wander if this could be handle better for us the consumers. Why do we have to pay for a long trip of towing? couldn't the law ban these companies of ripping off people like that. Where is the guiding rule of charge per mile or other options.

angry consumer.

Jose CArranza.

This theif that calls himself Erics Towing comes to my apartment complex where elderly people live on fixed income and low income families on government assistance live. They come through at night like vultures shining flashlights on windsheilds looking for minor violations like an inspection sticker that may have just expired etc.

Or guests that park wrong. They take the cars. Those cowards come at night instead of daylight. They are cowards because the know they have to be sneaky because what they are doing is wrong.

Cowards. Rejects that cant get real jobs.
