Purchased Cadex 12 alarm watch, did not work, poor customer service

My diabetes had become worse following an illness and I had to move from tablets to insulin injections. I am sensitive to stress (apparently) although I have not thought so. To help with the worry of getting my insulin right and to avoid stress I looked for a device I could wear, the Cadex 12 alarm watch appeared to fit the bill. I ordered from e-pill in Wellesley MA and the watch arrived, unfortunately it did not work properly, it started off by jumping from the data bank to the alarm, then the screen would go completely blank, when it returned all the data I had entered had vanished! I contacted e-pill via email, I was asked for my phone number so they could call me to check I was programming it correctly. Now being a lecturer in IT for many years I felt this to be a little condescending but at least they were making the effort. I gave them my number and a note about the time zone difference as I live in Spain. They did not call, I emailed again, they emailed back stating I had sent them the wrong number, they then typed in the number they said I sent them, how *** was the person I am dealing with? My original email was attached at the bottom with the CORRECT number! So I emailed back again pointing out the number was correct....no reply, I emailed again......no reply.....I emailed again threatening legal action....no reply! I then thought about it, hey the are an 'e' company that is a long way from me and no doubt have a healthier bank balance. So I have started making enquiries via the web, I have also answered many emails from people enquiring as to how good the watch and the company is, of course I am an honest person.

I purchase many products from the USA mainly because if there is a problem the customer service has always been exemplary however, it seems e-pill.com are the exception to the rule. As at this time 11.38 GMT +1 I have not had any replies/emails from e-pill. I do however continue to get plenty of questions from the various forums/review sites/emails/customers about the watch and perhaps more importantly the company, I of course reply with 100% honesty!

Thanks for taking an interest in my complaint.
