Unwanted Monthly Charges

AI Highlights
  • - Upsell: $50/month after signup; declined.
  • - Charged $50; refund issued; charged again next month.
  • - Matt Theriault leads; program worth $100.

I signed up for an online real estate training program for flipping or wholesaling homes. The training courses seem legit, and I haven't scratched the surface yet, only doing a few of them.

However, after the sign up page, there is an additional upsell page, for $50 month, which I declined. I just wanted the basics.

So my card was charged the additional $50 anyway. I contacted them to get a refund , which they did. But then the next month, the same unwanted $50 charge comes up again.

Not happy.

The guy behind the program is Matt Theriault.

He's nice enough, and seems to care about teaching you real estate, and even sending a personal note card to thank you for joining. I think the program is valuable at the $100 rate -- I'm only bothered by the continued unwanted charges, so be careful about that when you join.
