I will be glad to respond to MS LYNN KEIGHTLY'S SLANDERING POST. Yes my company came to Texas to work storm damage but I am not a "fly by night" contractor as u claim. I actually spent 15 years of my life in "your" town. I came back to do work on the homes of family and friends that needed my services.
You claim I ripped you off so let's set some fax straight:
Fact 1: Your insurance shorted you thousands of dollars that I held them accountable for. This meant you had more money to repair the damages to your home!
Fact 2: You as the homeowner are responsible for your deductible anytime you file an insurance claim. You said you were broke and could not afford your deductible. So you used some of the insurance funds that were allocated for other repairs to pay for the deductible you could not pay for out of your own pocket. This means that there is no longer funds to do those repairs that YOU chose not to do.
Fact 3: The new siding I installed is VINYL. It does NOT ROT! If you have wood rot somewhere it is unrelated to the work we performed as I personally inspected that jobsite.
Fact 4: I have pictures of your home before and after we performed the roof and siding. It is a huge upgrade from the condition it was in before.
Fact 5: Your labor warranty was good for 1 year and has since expired.
Fact 6: I have told you already what your siding is, so here it is again: manufacturer is CertainTeed. Style is Mainstreet Dutchlap Double 5". The siding and soffit are Savannah Wicker in color and the corner trim is Desert Tan in color.
Fact 7: Bottom line is you did not come out of pocket one single penny.
Fact 8: I completed every bit of work I was PAID to do.
Fact 9: The work I did not perform was work you and I discussed beforehand. It was clearly explained to you that you were using the funds from those items to pay your deductible that YOU were responsible for!
Fact 10: Insurance does not pay "Exhorbitant" amounts of money. They paid a fair price based on market pricing. You may see it as extreme because it was higher than the insurance company's first low-ball damage assessment.
Fact 11: I have responded to BBB on this matter multiple times and will continue to provide them any documentation they ask for.
Fact 12: You kept thousands of dollars of which a large portion was rightfully mine yet I did not place a lien against your property because I knew you needed the money worse than I did.
Bottom line is you are upset that I did not replace your $250 window. The truth is not only did you NOT pay me to replace a window, but you shorted me $4000.00 on the roof and siding!!! I will not bleed any more money on your project.
