EPassportPhoto.com! Dishonest and deceiving company

AI Highlights
  • - Ordered 2x2 passport photos; email says pick up 4x6 prints and cut to 2x2.
  • - Pickup instructions forbid mentioning the service and require a name.

Dishonest and deceiving company, DO NOT do business with ePassportPhoto.com!

I ordered 2 passport pics (2x2) online and waited for the email notifying me pics are ready for pickup from CVS.

To my surprise, the email asked me to pick up a 4X6 photo and use home scissors to cut the 2x2! something that should have been explained upfront on their website. I was warned not to mention epassportphotos.com when picking up pics.

Below is email:

IF THEY CANNOT FIND YOUR PHOTOS UNDER ABOVE NAME, THEY WILL FIND IT UNDER PHONE NUMBER: (900) 900 ****.

DO NOT MENTION epassportphoto, passport photo, or passport.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PHOTO PICKUP:

1. You came to the store to pick up ORDINARY 4x6 prints that you took by yourself with your camera.

2. Give the clerk ONLY ABOVE NAME.

3. The photo is under ABOVE name and NOT under epassportphoto

You will have a few passport photos on each print (usually 4) and you'll cut them out with home scissors.

Please notice that during the checkout process you’ll be required to pay the store 4x6” printing fee of 20c plus sales tax per print, so don’t forget your wallet!

Sincerely,

Paula Davis

Hello there,

We genuinely could not be sorrier for your negative experience with our service and we know that this is simply below our standards of quality here.

We try to provide all necessary information on the website and if you found that it wasn't satisfactory, we're certainly apologetic about that.

We offer the drugstore pickup option to save you time in line and we certainly aren't in the business of deceiving anyone.

We are an entirely reputable company with outstanding reviews:

We don't want any of our valued customers to experience your frustration and we appreciate your feedback-if there's anything we can do to make this right, please be sure to let us know. Wishing you all the best, ePassportPhoto.com

I have used the service and didn't have any problem. I actually thought it was brilliant - I didn't want to pay CVS or Walgreens to have some low-paid employee take a horrible photo of me and my kids.

Using scissors wasn't a problem for me. I'm pretty sure they say that in the email so that the store employee doesn't tell you to use the pharmacy's over-priced passport photo service instead.

Epassportphoto.com scam - no photos received

AI Highlights
  • - Don't waste money or time on epassportphoto.com.
  • - Research before paying; consider alternatives like CVS or Walgreens.

Don't waste your money or time on epassportphoto.com

Research this website before you pay any money.

This website appears to be a scam to collect money and not deliver on services guaranteed online. It seems they may rely on the small transactional amounts to avoid having to refund customers who do not receive the services they order. Be careful and do your research before proceeding.

Epassportphoto.com is not worth your time, save your money and avoid the headaches and stay away. This review is not the only review that conveys experiences that are not ideal.

Just take your photo and take it to a CVS or Walgreens and save the hassle.

Loss:
$1000

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

I'm considering epassportphoto.com, but this review doesn't give me much information. Have you personally used this service? What was your experience?
