They try to deny our claim for compensation when it is clearly a case of poor customer service. As can be seen by other customers on trustpilot and other review sites like feefo.
They just fail to accept the fact that they have done nothing wrong. They blame extremely busy times to respond to simple email questions but they respond almost immediately to emails of complaints! As they don't want the bad publicity. When you sign an agreement with a company they should fulfill their obligations to help and advise when needed.
But they didn't. Being busy is no excuse!
Avoid this company! We booked a car hire through them and had a query on what card was accepted for the security deposit.
We emailed the company but they failed to respond causing us to have to pay an extra 250euros on our car insurance because we didn't have any card they would accept! Even though we did have a MasterCard credit card this was denied. Which is stated as acceptable on the contract.
The contract is very vague and misleading. It states MasterCard or visa accepted, but isn't clear or no warnings that a MasterCard or visa debit card is NOT acceptable...
And in the queue for picking up the car other people were in the same position as not everyone has a credit card. Think they make a lot of money like this. It's a good method of extracting more money on a booking.
This is a money making racket and more information should be put in the contract as to what is acceptable. And also clarifying in the contract what is NOT acceptable.
It should not only be a credit card because many people do not have credit cards. But it seems that this is the only form of payment.
Failure to respond to email but responded quickly when we had a complaint about them. What's the difference?
Believe they didn't respond because that would have involved a cancellation of the booking by us and they would have lost their booking! Didn't want to lose any money!
