Englewood Health Hospital is Racist. No respect for African-Americans

Original review updated Mar 14, 2025

I called the Hospital to contact a friend who had surgery there. Very annoyed that the operator guy person was rather rude.

When speaking to the patient relation person also rude. My doctor wants to do my catheterization there but I am having second thoughts. I didn't' like the experience from the phone calls. In my professional work life, I've seem this type of behavior from non-blacks.

Talking to you rude, giving you dead short, cold answers, not being helpful, or even giving you missed information that impacts your decision making. My conclusion was that I felt this had a racial tone connected to it. Englewood Health Hospital. Regardless of the outcome, it is a company's responsibility to insure that people are treated with respect and dignity regardless of race.

The person in the patient relation department is definity below the quality of standard selected to handle complaints and grievances, and the operator guy, is also a bad choice for the inception for new comers.

To the person or persons who commented on my first post, I have a voice and dont be jealous that I called out transparency. See Yah!

Cons:
  • Quality of care will be in jeopady from staff

Preferred solution: Only to inform others about the treatment. Because if it was done to me, they are also rude to other Afro-Americans

User's recommendation: Englewood Hospital is OUT for me. Racist. Make your own decisions.

ALSO KIDDO, NO ONE IS JEALOUS OF YOU.. YOU MAY THINK THAT YOU ARE SO GREAT THAT EVERYONE IS JEALOUS OF YOU.

DREAM ON. WHY YOU ARE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR BEING BLACK, SO WHY WOULD ANYONE BE JEALOUS OF YOU.

Chao Pne

OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. THIS WAS NOT RACIAL.

LETS FACE IT, YOU ARE ASHAMED OF BEING BLACK. YOU ARE ASHAMED OF BEING AGFRICAN AMERICAN. IF THEY WERE BLACK WOULD YOU STILL ASSume this was racial?

I agree everyone should be treated with respect, but keep your being black out of it. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR BLACK SKIN.

Did you video chat with the operator and patient relation rep that they were able to identify personal information about you? I’m betting they were following policy and your nasty self didn’t like it.

Ok what? You are making accusations based on a phone call. Anyone you talked to wouldn’t know personal info about you in reference to what you are accusing them of.
