Took our money , over $ 3000.00, advised us poorly , changed lawyers and paralegals many times . Did not respond to our case in court which is malpractice and then just left us out the money and issue not solved .Our property was trashed by the tenants .

Now Englett's license suspended for 3 months by Fl Bar starting in Feb 2017 , due to many complaints . What good does that do?

They still have a website and we actually went on it as got a response and when explained nicely our situation of course never heard back . Is there any way to get back money or some satisfaction w/ our case ?

Hired this firm to deal with my bankruptcy and they are terrible, they dont reply to messages, theres no legal advice because no one will return calls, no one helps you with your case they just collect your money,they are a SCAM law firm. STAY AWAY FROM KEL..

Hired firm forChapter Seven and firm left 2 liens for 40000 on me. To find out six years later.

I'm requesting a refund.

This was to be a clean start.

KEL took my money after not receiving any services

I will let this email speak on my behalf. I paid KEL $950.00 to write a demand letter to my landlord. I am 100% disabled with little to no funds, even less now, and hired them to write a letter that they never did. They would not return my calls or emails:

Your refund request has been received. Please note, your retainer agreement with KEL Attorneys is a non-refundable agreement and earned upon retention of the Firm, please review your copy of the retainer agreement for additional details.

Refund reviews can take a minimum of 8 weeks for a decision. The final decision will be provided to you by US Mail to the address that we have on file. Please ensure that the Firm has your current address.

If a refund is approved, the refund is issued in the same manner as your initial payment; if you paid in cash or check, a check will be issued and mailed to the address on file.

Please note, a $500 administrative fee is withheld from any approved refund amount to cover the administrative costs of the opening and closing of your file.

You may follow up on your refund request in 4 weeks.

In 2009-10, I hired Kaufman Englett and Lynd attorneys for $3,000 and they literally did nothing for me. Not only did the lady who was handling my case consitently lose my paper work after i would fax it, she would not tell me for weeks that i had to fax it again.

Finally after 3 months of this, the law firm fired her and i had to start all over. Now that they finally were able to keep my paper work, they basically got their *** kicked by my mortgage company for the next 9 months and literally got nothing accomplished. After the year was over KEL informed me that they were no longer going to represent me because i only hired them for a year. I hired them to do a deed in lieu and only after taking my first payment did they tell me they would not even try for that, but would only do a loan modification instead.

Basically at this point i was paying them $3000 to save me around $70 a month on my mortgage. They were a huge scam. Never ever do business with them. They will leave you pissed.

Ironically, after I didn't pay my mortgage one month in order to hire them, my credit took a hit.

Guess who still calls me today offering to do a credit repair service for me...you guessed it, KEL.
