- - Solar loan processing caused a missed sale date and rate lock.
- - Enerbank delays and limited escalations hinder buyers and sellers.
We have a home in escrow due to close yesterday, and the solar company has all the new buyer's documents for over 10 days, and we missed our sale date because they refuse to help meet the sale timeline. Now the buyer's rate lock is missed, costing him thousands of dollars, and the seller cannot close on their new home on time.
Every single time we call for help to escalate and approve this, they are limited in reply and offer no help! It took less time for the lender to approve the buyer on a $450k loan than Enerbank takes to approve a $33k loan!
Do not do solar with them. They just say it takes them 30-60 days to do an assumption, and that is ridiculous when trying to sell a home!
