Emser Tile

I don't do business with any California based company. my reasons are 100% political

After purchasing tile from Emser Tile in Kent for more than 7 years I recently found out they were charging me twice the cost of the tile exaggerating Lee over charging me for the product this is a warning to anyone purchasing product from them check price vendors nearby for more than half the price buyer beware

We have worked with this business for a number of years and never has it been such a pleasure than in the past couple of months. The quality of merchandise is above par, but the customer service realm was lacking severly.

It was always a struggle to order what I wanted and get an expected delivery date that was not made up...now, when I order, I am treated to supreme customer service standards and treated as if I was the only customer. I get what I want, get real, actual answers and receive accurate information from the new gentleman working.

As opposed to before, I would procrastinate on ordering because I did not want to have to deal with the hassle, now, it is 1-2-3, so easy, and I get what I want!!! I have never written a review, but felt very compelled to since this has been such a drastic change from previous encounters, and in turn, makes mine and my companies lives much more "simple" ....

These people never call to tell you if or when your order comes in. They have no product numbers associated with their tiles (only descriptive names).

Their ordering quantity is by the square foot (per their catalog) but yet two times now they have only ordered tiles by the piece where the order was by the square foot (and paid for by the square foot). This is not only frustrating but slowing down my bathroom project considerably. Not only that - the "customer service" folks don't care.

They are very rude and not good to deal with at all. I am done with them.

Eugene Oregon - was told they were not a "retail" store and they didn't "need my business" - all because I requested the "manager" help the employee field calls while we worked on a material/design plan at which point, the manager told me he would not help his employee. After the employee finished w/call, I was told if I was going to talk to them "this way", they did not want my business....long story short - my contractor will no longer do business with them. I will do my best to tell everyone I know to avoid this corporation at all costs.
