Terrible Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I booked a "hummer limo" for my daughters' birthdays for last Saturday. They were supposed to be here at 11:45am sharp to get us to our party venue on time.

I had 4 calls confirming the time and vehicle prior to the party date and was assured we'd have a great experience. After having 20 girls waiting on my driveway, I get a call stating that they will be 15 min late. 25 minutes later, the arrived with a party bus that had *** poles in them. I was beyond infuriated, so I called the owner.

He said he'd give me a $25 discount. What?!? We arrived to our venue 45 minutes late and didn't even get to sing Happy Birthday to the girls because we were so rushed. He thought $25 was going to take the inappropriate *** poles out of the car or enough to cover what I paid for the party room?

The whole thing disrupted the entire day and I was humiliated having to explain to the parents what had happened. I will say, the drivers, Francisco and Martin were great drivers and super apologetic. Other than that, the owner, Maksim Dolgov, didn't give a damn about how I felt as a customer and was TERRIBLE about trying to make it right for me!

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who wants a reliable car service with a professional owner. I'm going to fight for my money back!

Unprofessional conversation with owner

We used them for our wedding. I would not recommend the company.

Two days before our wedding, my (now) husband called to confirm our reservation. They told us that we owed them over $600, which we argued. We had sent them a check several months ago, which we had overpaid so they sent us a refund check. We spent several hours the next day, even going to the bank to try and find the check. We finally found the check we sent and the refund check. We called and they made us jump through all these hoops by sending them a screen shoot of the check, etc. We tried calling and couldn't get through. We finally got through and talked to the manager, who was extremely rude. My husband, who has the patience of a saint, eventually hung up on the manager because he was so rude. I called later in the day to follow up on an e-mail that they sent us with incorrect information and the emergency manager was rude to me as well. I mentioned that it was ridiculous that we had to jump through so many hoops, two days before our wedding. He proceeded to ask me, "Really, how much time did you have to spend." That was the last straw and I hung up as politely as I could muster. I come to find out later that I was talking to the owner of the company.

The day of the wedding, our driver was not friendly. He barely said two words to me. If it was not for the fact that our wedding was two days away, we would have gone with another company because of their unprofessional attitude and lack of courtesy.

MUST READ before booking Emperor Limousine - unprofessional, rude company!

MUST READ before booking Emperor Limousine - unprofessional, rude company!

My husband and I got married on September 13, 2013. We booked Emperor Limo because it had great reviews and my friend also booked them for her wedding (which took place a month before ours without any issues). Expecting nothing else but the time of our lives on our wedding day turned into a heartbreaking discovery that put us in tears for the rest of the night! The night we'll remember forever!

I like to stay organized and wanted our wedding day to go as smooth as possible, so I prepared envelopes with cash tips inside of them addressed to each of the vendors beforehand. I had the envelopes in my bridal bag, which was on the bus all the time, even when the whole bridal party got off the bus to take pictures. The bus was never unattended, even when the whole bridal party was out, the driver stayed on the bus. When we got to the banquet hall, our final stop, I went into my bridal bag to get the driver's envelope with tip and to my surprise all of the envelopes were missing!!! I was hysterical as the envelopes held a large amount of money. Once inside the banquet hall, I searched my other bags and tried to recapture what could've happened, when my bridesmaids discovered money was also missing from their purses! We immediately called the limo company to tell them what happened as we knew they provided 'video surveillance' on the bus that could've shed some light into the situation. They begged us not to call the police and that they would have the owner (Mark) review the camera from the bus and call us on Monday. Still in tears, we trusted the company and not to say we already missed our entire cocktail hour by that time, we decided to wait.

To our surprise, the company did not call us back until Wednesday when we were notified that "the camera was unplugged". The owner even had the nerve to accuse our bridal party of stealing the envelopes. In the meantime, we already had gone to the police station, reported what happened and had a detective assigned to work on this case. After months of the company not cooperating, the detective had the driver come in for a polygraph test, which he FAILED! I was also told that shortly after our wedding, the driver was no longer employed by this company. In addition, the driver told the detective that their cameras are not plugged in about 60% of the time!

The owner of this company never reached out to us to apologize or to compensate us for the stolen money and the emotional distress. The company did not provide working video surveillance as stated in the contract, did not protect its customers, did not step up to its plate and instead turned its back to us. The owner was very rude, unprofessional and referred to us as "nothing but *** CUSTOMERS'. We felt very betrayed by this company.

Please take this review into consideration when looking for a limo company and BEWARE! Not only did we have $800 dollars stolen from us, which we never got back, but we also missed our entire cocktail hour because we were crying and on the phone with the limo company

Not so Happy Birthda

It was my birthday Saturday and I booked a limo with emperor limousine. Whn it was time to get picked up I was happy the only complaint I had was the lights on the inside of the limo didn't light up as advertised.

After the party they came and picked us up in a party bus which I didn't order I would have liked to be picked back up in the limo. The bus didn't look so nice first of all on the inside I felt like I was riding on the CTA. Also they only had one headlight working and the lights on the back of the bus didn't work. Whn mt friend informed the driver he said he knows he only had a couple more stops to do.

I know the bus was supposed to be an upgrade but it wasn't so upgradish to me. When we arrived to my house it had snowed and a couple friends parked in the back in visiting parking so they asked the driver if he could drop them off in the back which would've taken 30sec.

And he told them no because he had a couple more stops. I wasn't very happy with my services.

Absolutely ZERO Professionalism

My boyfriends company contracted Emperor for a stretch SUV limo to take his office and their significant others to their yearly Christmas party in the loop. Upon entering the limo I noticed it was extremely cold inside which is uncomfortable when it's extremely cold outside. For the first 20-30 min inside the limo we desperately tried to turn off the air conditioning that was blasting on us. The driver made zero effort to stop and help us, he just yelled to the back that we needed to adjust it on the panel that we had obviously been trying to adjust for 20 min. It was so cold the inside of the windows were frosted with ice. I kind of felt bad for complaining so much about it but I was literally shivering and my teeth were chattering. After calling the corporate office several times my boyfriends boss finally got ahold of someone that said just to have the driver shut it off. I guess finally the driver turned something off up front and it stopped blowing on us. I just don't think it should take that long to have the driver shut something off but I still apologized to him for complaining and the company gave us some money back which was ok.

The previous year (we used another company) we barely made it to the xmas party without peeing our pants so this year we decided to make a stop on the way so everyone could use the bathroom. It was actually an extra charge for a stop but it was well worth it for our bladders. I think it was assumed that on the way home there would also be a stop so when we went to enter the limo on the way home my boyfriends boss told the driver that we needed to stop at a gas station. The driver told us "no, you are all going straight back, we just gave you $200 back you're all going straight back." At which time we all started to get aggravated. It got so heated between my boyfriends boss and the driver that the driver actually told him to "*** off" and proceeded to kick everyone out of the limo. At this point the driver went and locked himself in the cab of the limo and began throwing a temper tantrum on the phone. We obviously needed a ride home and probably wouldn't have been able to get another limo at a moments notice so I got involved. I went to the drivers window and knocked on it for a while and he refused to open the window or even talk to me. Oddly enough, I was about to hand him am extra tip to bring us home but he refused to open the window. After a couple minutes of this he finally slammed down his cellphone, opened the window and told us "get back into the limo I have to take you home". I can imagine someone at the corporate office told him he better do a tantrum check and do what he was payed to do. At this point everyone piles back into the limo and we get on our way. Let me just say that this is where it got really scary. The driver drove so erratically that people were flying off the seats. I myself fell to the ground twice. Obviously, he was doing this on purpose. In my book this is just unacceptable. The drivers ego is now putting people in danger and that is W R O N G. When we arrived back to our destination the driver waited in the cab for everyone to exit the limo and literally peeled rubber flying out of the parking lot. That final act of defiance by the driver was embarrassing to say the least.

Sadly, the story doesn't end there. I will preface this by saying the radio inside the limo was pretty shoddy. There was an auxiliary cord actually taped to it. At first I plugged my phone into the cord and it worked fine. But after getting thrown to the floor during the drivers insane driving techniques I accidentally pulled out the auxiliary cord that had been held together by a piece of tape. Now, if you know anything about a simple auxiliary cord it's a $6 cord that just sticks into the front of your radio. If it breaks you don't tape it to the radio, you buy a new one... Especially if you own a $100,000 plus limo. So I just removed the cord and placed it into the cup holder, used the auxiliary cord I had in my purse and the radio continued to work perfectly. So you can imagine the next day when my boyfriends office received a charge for a broken radio I was pretty surprised because it was definitely broken previously. If they didn't use tape to fix the problem I would have never needed to use my own auxiliary cord. Even then, in order to fix the problem they needed to spend $6 to buy a new cord. Also, if I didn't go flying out of my seat while gripping my phone, the previously broken, fixed with some tape cord would have never come out of the radio. It was ridiculous that this driver was still trying to spite us. And to ice that cake he added a separate cleaning charge because he said someone threw up. First of all, I was in the limo the WHOLE time. If someone threw up in there I'm sure everyone could smell it and see it. I swear on my life no one threw up back there. Secondly, if someone did throw up it was probably a product of the erratic driving, seriously.

I couldn't imagine being in this limo on the way to my wedding and having this happen. That's mostly why I'm posting this review. I'm desperately worried that these things are going to happen on someone's wedding day. The last thing a bride needs to remember about her wedding day is being horrified while she flies down the expressway at 90mph in a limo filled with close family members. I think this company stays afloat by offering better prices than most companies. Cheap prices= nonexistent professionalism, no customer service and a bad product. Please please everyone stay away.

Racist Company

Back in June I tried to obtain a party bus for 30 people to go to a DePaul University graduation ceremony in Rosemont. The person who answered the phone asked my my address and zip code.

When I responed 60619, she said they were not licensed for the South Side of Chicago. They were only licensed to pick up clients in the Loop or North Side. The State of Illinois issues the licenses, she must have thought I was ***. It is obvious they didn't want an african american customer.

By the way I'm 63 year young and my mother is 86 years young. What did they think we were going to do on their party bus. This company is racist and everyone should boycott them.

I reported them the Office of the Attorney General, which contacted them and they refused to respond to the Consumer Protection Division. Bunch of cowards!

Didn't provide what they promised

I reserved a 26-28 pass. party bus to drive around chicago for my 21st birthday since I had never been on a limo before.

The staff were really great and kind they even let me come pick out my top 3 favorite ones in case the one I wanted wasn't available. They showed up 25 min early!! Then get in and this one was not one of the 3 that I choose. I really wanted the dance pole...

didn't even have one, UGLY too, T.V. had lines moving across the screen the whole time, they promised ice pop cups and water would be stocked but none, I had about 17 people and there was no way you could fit anymore then 20, it was nuts and the list goes on.

Their price was decent but I guess u get what you pay for.... Would not recommend unless you force them somehow to get what they promise you.

Hi Calvin,

Thank you for your feedback. We don't have any reservations under your name for NYE 2012.

We did have one reservation for NYE where the bus was delayed 20 minutes at the return location due to NYE congestion. As you can image the streets are filled with taxicabs, pedestrians, and other vehicles on the evening of New Years.

Please call us at 630-383-**** so we could compensate you accordingly and resolve the situation to your full satisfaction.

We would never leave anyone stranded as customers are what makes us successful.

Every single review that is posted online regarding our company is 100% real and I would be more than happy to provide you with the phone numbers of the customers who posted them (assuming it's ok with the customer) for you to confirm.

Once again, please call us at 630-383-**** so we could resolve any issues!

Thank you so much,

Mark Malevskis
