AI Highlights
  • - Wear and coppery edges appear after less than three weeks.
  • - Refund denied, citing care instructions.
  • - They request proof of gold filled status.

I ordered two sets of gold filled bangles, and I was excited to receive them. After less than three weeks of use, they have started to show signs of wear and color change.

Gold filled is not supposed to tarnish. I own many gold filled pieces - some for over 10 years. Also, as someone that makes jewelry and buys findings, I am highly versed in the difference between gold vermeil, gold plated, gold filled, and solid gold, and I also know how they perform. These are clearly gold plated.

The edges of the bangles are turning a coppery color. When I reached out to customer service to initiate a refund and return, they refused to refund me stating it was neglect of the care instructions. Please look up the longevity, durability and care instructions for gold filled jewelry. This is clearly falsely marketed, and its actually maddening to be told its your fault.

Gold filled is 5% gold bonded to a base metal, and its supposed to be stamped. None of the bangles are stamped. They also stopped responding, and I asked for proof/certification the jewelry was actually gold filled.

They also will not publish bad reviews on their site. Its not transparent at all.
