And funny how this bill is just coming to my attention over a year and a half later! Its ***

Verified ReviewerMedical services bill sent directly to collections company.
My husband received care in the Integris ER from Dr. Megan Wilson on 1.05.20 in Oklahoma City, OK.
No claim was ever submitted to our insurance even though Integris supplied the correct insurance information that they used to successfully file and be paid on their claim.
It appears that Dr. Wilson's company sent the details directly to a collection agency as my husband has been getting calls. Since we never received a bill in the mail, I assured him it was probably a fraud organization spam calling him.
When I called the Integris billing department, they said the ER doctor’s service should have been billed through Emergency Services of Oklahoma and provided the number as 888.952.6772. However, upon calling this number, the business that answered (in Tennessee) named itself as Team Health.
I called our insurance and the representative stayed on the call with me as I called Team Health.
We spoke to Crystal who at first gave us the collection company IMBS and number 800-984-****, saying they had the account and she did not. When I asked her to confirm Dr Megan Wilson worked for her, she said yes.
When I asked my insurance account representative to confirm if they ever received a claim and he said no, Crystal said she would have the account reviewed. My insurance representative gave her all the necessary information to file a claim.
Now, I guess we wait to see if they do and if the collection calls stop.
Preferred solution: File a claim with our insurance and stop the collection calls.
Billing
I'm disputing a collection because I have insurance, and they want me to do their job. I have provided my Medicare and Medicaid information, and they are still refusing to finish filing my insurance.
Yet, they turned me over to collection. I have mailed them the information via certified mail, and they still say that I owe even through they have not filed the claims.

Verified ReviewerAvoid their services
Received at least one statement owing monies to this company, so I do not deny I owed them money
However, when their collection agency, HRRG, could not reach me, they then spoofed FIVE different Oklahoma phone numbers 16 times from December 14-30, 2019.
Today I paid my debt and emailed them with the details of this, including a picture of the voicemail left from one of the spoofed numbers.
I will also be notifying INTEGRIS Health, as it was one of their ERs where I incurred this debt.

Don’t use and check your bill to see if insurance was contacted
We received a bill with no information about who the doctor was or if they had filed insurance. We tried to contact, but there was no contact information given.
We called our insurance and they said they never received anything from this doctor or her company. We received a bill from the collection agency, ARS. When we called them all they could tell us was they had been given an amount to collect. They couldnt or wouldnt give us contact information.
They called several months later and wanted to settle for half of the amount.
We told them not until they filed with insurance. They have reported it to our credit, but it didnt affect our score.
Preferred solution: File insurance claim
Never received a bill
Our ER visit was back in December of 2018. We never received a bill or a phone call and then out of the blue, we get a letter from a collection agency.
I can't even find information on how to contact the Emergency Services of Oklahoma.
What a horrible way to due business. The only ones making money are the collection agencies that represent this company.
- Never sent a bill
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Horrible billing practices
I got a threatening letter in the mail from their collection bulldogs, Plantation Billing Center in Sunrise, FL. I had NEVER gotten a bill before this one threatening me with collection.
I called Plantation Billing and spoke to one of the rudest people on the planet. I was just trying to figure out 1) what the bill was for and 2) why I was being threatened with collection. Emergency Services of OK doesn't have anyone you can call to complain, so the consumer is completely stuck. What an unbelievably *** way to do business.
I will think twice before EVER dealing with Grove Integris ER department again. Oh...my bill was for $21.82.
- Horrible billing practices
Preferred solution: Have someone from Emergency Services of OK call me.
Incompetent billing practice
I never received any bill or statement from this company for any services provided. Then I start getting collection notices and phone calls from a company call HRRG collections.
Scamming the elderly
Emergency Services of Oklahoma (office in Cincinnati), took my 92 year old Mother to collections for $909.00... a bill that was never submitted to Medicare or her Blue Cross Blue Shield insurer.
We visited the hospital accounting office but they sent us to another address - but no one there. We have called 3 times with no return call. Now we are dealing with the Healthcare creditors Revenue Recovery group - a debt collector who won't talk to us since I am not the patient. (Mom has dementia).
No one returns calls from Emergency Services of Oklahoma - it is a sin the way they treat the elderly.
Mom has paid her bills for 92 years - and now they take a demented frail old lady to collections after the family ran around town trying to contact them. Hope they get the same poor customer services when they get old.
- Never returned 3 calls to discuss bill
Preferred solution: Bill Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield
Emergency Services of Oklahoma are inept!
On 4/30/12, I had to go to the Emergency room at Norman Regional Hospital for a severe case of shoulder pain caused by a strain. Oh, how I wished that I hadn't done so.
My insurance at the time, Coventry, paid them on 5/31/12 leaving me with $120.38 for my part of the bill. I was sent a bill by Emergency Services of Oklahoma, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, saying that I owed them the total cost of $535.00. That was the total before my insurance kicked in. I contacted my insurance and they called the company while I waited on the other line.
ESO demanded that my insurance send them a copy of the front and back of the check that they had cashed on 5/31/12. It was faxed in on that day 7/21/12. In September, after not receiving another bill by ESO, I received a bill for $535.00 stating that they were now turning it over to a collection company as well. Once again, I called my insurance company on 9/4/12 and, once again, ESO demanded a copy of the front AND back of the check that they cashed on 5/31/12.
Once again, my insurance company faxed the information and got the company to agree to not effect my credit by sending it to a collection agency. On 10/3/12, I was sent another bill for $535.00, and once again, my insurance company faxed over the information as had been requested the other 2 times, copies of the front and back of the check that they had already cashed. This time, my insurance company got them to put my account on hold and told them that if this continued, they would take stronger actions. On 10/29/12, I received another bill and went straight to the source, demanding to talk to the manager, Kay, and after hearing that the computer only goes in order and that mine had not reached that status as yet, since they had not received the faxes, which was a bunch of bs, I lost my cool and told Kay that if I received another bill for that amount, my insurance wouldn't be the only ones that would be doing stronger actions.
Afterwards I contacted my insurance and told them about the conversation. They agreed that it was ridiculous and contacted ESO to back me up. We didn't hear anything for months after that, so my husband called in Feb. of this year only to be told that the account was still on hold and that the computer was still working it's way to my account.
How much more inept can a accounting company, based in another state get?
Apparently, Emergency Services of Oklahoma ranks right up there with the worst of them.
