I called Emerald Nuts and spoke to a very nice customers service rep. She informed me that Emerald Nuts was sold to Flagstone Co.
about a year ago. I emailed Flagstone and received a response in a day if not the same day. Both Emerald Nuts & Flagstone Co.
had superior customer service and were very accommodating to my request/complaining. Also, Pissed Customer was equally as easy to work with.
I bought (16) 5 oz cocoa roasted almonds in 4 months. The 1st 8 were great. The 2nd 8 *new look - taste stale.

Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: New look were not as good, I wouldn't buy again if the first batch tasted like the new look ones. I gave 4 bags to someone at Christmas because she loved the ones I bought previously. I kept 4 and only opened one.

Completed their Customer Service Contact form, filling in every required field. Clicked "Send", got "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later." This was on their side.
They have no email, so all the info I took time to explain was lost, including the 2 product pictures. I had expected better—that they could maintain a simple web contact form.

I purchased a bag of Emerald kettle glaze, walnuts, and or stale not satisfied with the product tried to get a hold of customer service and call will not go through

The change of the recipe for my beloved HONEY glazed virginia peanuts
- Longtime customer says honey glazed peanuts lost their taste.
- Glaze is now sugary and similar to other brands, which is disappointing.
I have been purchasing your honey glazed Virginia peanuts for many years...what I liked about your product, and made it different from Planters etc. has disappeared.
Your nuts used to have a wonderful honey glazed appearance and taste. Now, the almost candy type glaze has been replaced by a sugary coat, which does not make your nuts any different from any other brand.
I don't know why your recipe has changed so dramatically...I am sure there are many other long time customers who feel the same way. The change is very disappointing.
