I received an order of garnishment for 25 percent on 1-5-17. The address I was supposedly served is a place I haven't lived in 10 years. I am sole provider for a family of 5 so 25 percent is illegal to take. I've tried repeatedly to get ahold of them to no avail. Looks like I'll be part of the growing number of people suing them

There is no way this debt can be paid. Over the years all tax returns have been taken, which probably doesn't even cover the interest. It has put a hardship on Wayne Miles due to his inability to work. He has lost both legs below the knees. He has less than a $1,000.00 income per month. He counted on tax returns to help him. There is no reason to file taxes any more, it will never settle the debt. He pays over $500.00 per month rent. Due to his credit. he cannot live in a less expensive apt.

From reading and seeing all, im seeing their frauds & im going through this as we speak...soooooo im about to do the civil right movement on their @!$ i was told their in Nj & no need to come in?.. Findout their in Ny where i reside?!...smdh bad buisness

Hello, I'm seeking information that can help also a lawyer if possible. I've been a victim of identity theft for many years & recently received mail about a NY Unclaimed funds. I tried to receive the funds but found out a NY Marshall office collected a debt from the year 2002. I contacted the Marshalls who collected a Fraudulent debt and was told their case has moved on to a law firm by the names of (Eltman & Cooper). I was sent at first on a railroad runaround till I finally got a real contact for this law firm. When I explained to them you collected my earnings but should've investigated that i was a victim of identity theft they explained they would clear my name and refund my unclaimed funds. They said there located in New Jersey so there isn't a need for me to come in (Lie no.1). They said there gonna mail me a packet of identity theft and for me to fill out, Well one month went by and no pack at came so I recalled and same note they'll send it. Three months so far and nothing. I tried calling today and was talked to extremely rude by a worker/lawyer I'm assuming. I was told I'm the blame and my post office behind my address? But how's that? They never mailed anything. Then I find out this company lied to me about their location which is actually right here in NYC ? Its been a long stressful story and the amount of my Unclaimed fund is from what was told a decent amount over 4,000 I believe but I asked how can someone collect a persons debt with no real evidence. My debt had to do with a stolen identity credit card in my name in a state I never lived in. I told them also explained I have paperwork from those years to prove, also identity theft proof and paperwork from my credit bureau in the timeframe of the year they claimed I owed. Due to me speaking and letting them know this was a fraud act and in my own words (A scintilla of evidence) they got impatient and very rude and placed me on hold for almost a half hour?. So I hung up, still waiting for a fraud packet, was lied to about office location and to top off no help?. I'm seeking help or a lawsuit against this situation and know I have Perfect Evidence to show for. If possible I'm seeking help/advice thank you. Im sending to a lawyer as a civil case!
