How can I get my refund?

Elk Creek Trailers Manufactured Home Trailers promised me in writing a refund on 2/07/2021. I don't know how things went so downhill when they started off great to begin with. The Elk Creek Trailers community way perfect for us. The is just minutes from anything residents need. There is quick access to major roads and even a grocery within walking distance. The charming downtown Main Street is just five minutes away from Elk Creek Trailers campground. There are multiple other shopping centers within minutes as well, offering plenty of restaurants and stores for all your needs. Evansville is just forty-five minutes north and Nashville is an hour and a half south. It's actually where I met my first husband, and we moved in to Elk Creek Trailers Manufactured Home Trailers in fall of of 2019. We enjoy the outdoors there are local parks and lakes, or take an hour drive into the Shawnee National Forest and Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. Things all started to go south when Elk Creek Trailers got a new general manager who all us trailer park residents referred to as "buzzkill Doug". He was nothing like the previous manager. There was always an issue and Doug was always there with some duct taped solution. The first issue was when our trailer which mind you was built by Elk Creek Manufactured Home Trailers and we even opted for the Elk Creek Trailers (silver trailer coverage maxx) which was supposed to include a 5 year trailer warranty for ANY issues or damages to our trailer not caused by us. The first storm we have we attempted to file a claim with Doug because a window got knocked out by a tree. His response? "Elk Creek Trailers" bears no responsibility for third party damages. How is that a third party damage? It was caused by a tree!! And what's ironic is they had enough cash to pony up for a golden elk emblazed with their stupid logo Elk Creek Trailers all plastered across it. And if that wasn't bad enough they even insisted that residents could chip in the fund for repainting it after all the storm damage. So long story short we are wondering when we will get our refund?

Renter Beware! Renter Beware!! Renter Beware!!! We were promised in writing by Elk Creek Trailers they would fix our trailer numerous times. If I could give Elk Creek Trailers a 0 I would. That is how much I dislike Elk Creek Trailers. I had lived there in 2019 and moved out within the first year. I owned my trailer which was manufactured by Elk Creek Trailers in supposedly 2012, and sold it to get out of there because they were so bad. It's 2022 and Elk Creek Trailers only now took my name off that lease! I still haven't got my deposit back and don't look for it. Where my trailer was, everytime it rained my yard flooded so bad that it was almost at the top of my bird bath. It messed my air unit up and Elk Creek Trailers WOULDN'T fix it. I called and made several complaints so calling the number isn't going to help. I have called the office several times and Elk Creek Trailers would brush off what I had said. Either way, the WORST place that I have lived. Ever. PLUS if you want to move your trailer it you have to pay them $1,000.00 Incase anything is damaged. User's recommendation: Avoid renting from Elk Creek Trailers

To warn others

dBuyer Beware! Buyer Beware!! Buyer Beware!!! We were promised in writing by Blue Dog Ranch LLC and Elk Creek Builders /Trailers; that our hand wash trailer for a contract with the forest service would be completed in two weeks. We did not receive our trailer for eight months from the time we gave them our down payment. As a direct result we lost the entire first year of our contract to the forest service, which cost our company over fifty thousand dollars in revenue. After many frustrating months of several missed due dates, unfulfilled promises, and no responses to our inquiries, we were finally told our trailer was complete. We immediately drove for 1800 miles, to their site in Arizona, only to find that our trailer was nowhere near completion. They!! Provided us!! With an agreement. Signed and in writing to pay for our trip [Food, Gas, and Lodging]. They only paid a portion of the Invoice for lodging and partial gas. After several more months they have not returned a single inquiry, and the invoice remains unpaid. When I began a visual inspection of the trailer I found the external waterproof electrical covers were mounted to the trailer with only the caulking. When I plugged in the commercial power it tripped my shop breaker immediately. I found a screw directly through the electrical socket inside the trailers mounting box. I found a crack in the frame weld just above the stabilizer jack at the rear of the trailer. Visually I can see the hot and cold water is reversed at the sinks. The finish work of this trailer is very unprofessional. It looks to us like they may have brought in the second grade class from the local elementary school for help. All the caulking is very poor and full of welding dust. Hasps and handles are all uneven, and nothing is level. Overspray of paint is apparent throughout the exterior of the trailer. The crossover power cable from one side of the trailer to the other is left dangling underneath. This trailer is supposed to be designed for travel on forest service roads. Safety chains for Non-potable, and potable water caps were left to dangle when delivered scratching the outer surface of the trailer for 1800 miles. The hinges on the lift out doors are designed for indoor use only. When delivered the hinges had already begun to rust causing water stains down both exterior sides of the trailer. The exterior trim was cut and installed leaving razor sharp edges. Some of these are minor problems and easily repaired, however supports the statements of the un-professional craftsmanship that is done in this shop; run by the [self-proclaimed] professionals in the business. Having been to and witnessed their business; this is NOT!! A professional manufacturer as I imagined, instead it is clearly a shade-tree operation with trash and empty beer cans surrounding their building. I would very strongly recommend finding anyone but this company to do the work for you. Finally do not be misled by any of their advertising, documentation, statements, or promises; verbal or in writing, they will NOT!! honor either one. Of the several negative reviews only one had a return response in which the only complaint was he could not get in contact with them. This person should count their blessing! They were spared the frustration, and misery of actually doing business with these two companies. In closing please do not pay attention to the salesmans email signature when he uses the statement May God richly Bless You. He is hiding behind the good Lords name only to steal from you!!! User's recommendation: Do it yourself or find somebody other than these 2 companies!!
