My wig seemed to take forever to deliver. Their email response was that they hadnt received inventory for that particular style, and also that shipment to my area was more difficultwhatever that meant.
Months and months went by. I saw that my wig was still available on their website with no indication of back orders. I asked if there was any other reason for the delay, perhaps a personal one. Mind you, I had always been gracious in my communications, Their response was abrupt and defensive.
There are way too many online options for wig stores.

Customers genuinely think they are getting a item to make them feel /look nice ,then end up disappointed & scammed.Shame some online companies give on line selling a bad repor.Lets hope they get stopped & fine for these acts & u innocent people read the customers reviews b4 purchasing ( unlike me .

This company is scamming consumers. They are based in China.
They claim they have "fast shipping and easy return". When you select the product from the images on their site, they write you back and say that "it's being manufactured." After waiting two weeks I contacted them and they replied "it's ready." What I received looked nothing like the wig in the photo and they refused to refund my money.
See photos of what I ordered and what they shipped. They're basically thieves.

- Arrived earlier than expected, boxed neatly with a pink comb and net.
- Color matches order and is nicer than the picture; real-hair feel.
The wig arrived earlier than expected delivery date which was great.It came very nicely presented in a neat box together with the pink comb and net which was a nice touch especially for the price. Upon opening I was holding my fingers crossed that the colour is the same as ordered and it was, I would even say it's much nicer than the picture.
The picture doesn't really show the actual depth of the colour. First thing I noticed was how 'real hair like' it felt. I was not expecting such quality for such a low price.
Excellent product, extremely satisfied. Very high quality, will definitely buying from you again.

The wig had absolutely no shape to it. I was told to bring it to my hairdresser. REALLY? Pay to have it cut & styled on top of the cost of the wig? I think not. ewigs offered me a refund of $40 and a discount off my next order. There is no way I would ever think of ordering from them again. I told them $40 was unacceptable. This POS wig cost me $120! Why would they offer this to me if there wasn't a valid issue?? Pic#1 is what I ordered Pic#2 is the mess I got!

Sent me the wrong order and claim that's what I did order, & I didn't. The quality of hair is awful and I think they should go out of business.

I have bought 4 wigs , 2 from the Raquel Welch selection and 2 from Estetica all were as advertised,the person who thought they were buying a human hair wig for $135.00 should have had a closer look, all human hair wigs are in the $400.00 plus range, also there is mention of not using hair appliances or heated objects on the non human hair wigs. I live in Canada and have never had a problem returning a wig that was over sized or the wrong color.
I am a cancer survivor and am pleased with both product and service I get from Marty and company at E.Wigs.com. I will continue purchasing my wigs at E.wigs.
I've only bought Tony of Beverly Wigs from them. I have never gotten a wig I didn't love.
I did buy one that ended up having more curls than I expected, no issue with returning it. It was beautiful but it wasn't for me at 67.

- I paid $157 for a wig I can't wear; I'll travel 2.5 hours to Dallas to a shop that custom fits.
I ordered a wig from Ewigs and when it arrived it was BRIGHT RED when I ordered Dark Brown I sent an email to their customer service department and have yet to recieve an answer I paid them $157 for a wig that I did not order nor can I wear due to the color being totally opposite from my natural hair color. Now I will have to go to Dallas two and one half hours away (which I should have done in the beginning and purchase a wig. I just found out today there is a wig shop in Dallas where they custom fit you for style and color.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. What they sent was not at all like the picture, twice as long, has a strange cut, cap size is large for "Average" and the quality very inferior, lots of hairs falling out.
I bought a wig on eBay for 10.00 that was better quality than this one. On top of that I have requested my money back and complied with all their conditions but they are not cooperative and have not sent the return permission. Steer clear of buying from them, I don't trust them and I regret spending the money.

Totally unsuitable to wear
- US phone listed; contact by email only; two wigs ordered; cancellation disputed; 40% fee; no RMA or return address; PayPal claim.
If the owner is in the United States why does he have a phone number out of the USA? Why does he deal only by email and his english is broken with wrong spelling.
I wish I had inspected his website BEFORE I ordered two human hair wigs. I tried to cancel my order as soon as I got the confirmation which I didn't understand. It said I would receive and it is with manufacture. I asked what that meant and was told that my order was delivered on July 16th, however I didnt even place the order until July 20th.
From that point on I tried to cancel and a Martin Carter told me I would be charged 40% if I cancelled and urged me not to cancel. I called my bank and they suggested that I return them when I received them so I waited until I got them. Believe me this is a mess, he will not give me a RMA number or an address to return them to. They are totally unwearable!
They have a terrible smell, the "lace front" is like no lace front I've ever seen on any wig - it is very obvious and it is not lace, it is a netting that goes over the forehead and around to the ears and it's baggy and unsightly.
I could go on for many pages writing about the quality but suffice it to say, I have filed a claim on paypal to get a refund because he will not let me return them and refund except for 50%. DO NOT ORDER FROM E-WIGS.COM

I am a customer of ewigs for a long time now and they have always been very understanding and are going through a very rough patch because of the people in China trying to rip off their company! I know Kelly and Marty through phone convos and are very legit people!
Please pay close attention to what site your visiting to get an e-wigs wig because there are people in China scamming wig company's! E-wigs is the best but remember to add the dash in the name!

Why is the image logo you are showing with this complaint about ewigs (no hyphen) is actually the logo for a totally different wig store that has a hyphen in its name.
At least put the correct logo of the store where you purchased the wig.
There are several websites : ewigsna.com & ewigs.co.uk are two of them. ewigs.co.uk has a purple silhouetted lady's head with fancy lettering for the E and the Wigs but no hyphen and ewigsna.com has a very similar purple logo as well. SO I ask again why show a logo of a totally different site with this complaint. Both ewigsna.com & ewigs.co.uk are sites selling cheaply made knock off wigs.
They never list the recognizable brands with images that are obviously ripped off from the manufacturers' sites or other legitimate sites that have the real names and often style numbers with the images.
Your complaint may be legit, but at least get the correct logo of the site where you bought your wig. If you ordered a wig without the correct manufacture's name then you are probably buying from a scam site.

This problem company is NOT ElegantWigs.com. It is probably a company in China that uses US wig images to sell counterfeit merchandise - probably ewigsna.com? Elegant Wigs used to be e-wigs and had to change their domain name because of ewigsna.com
