What have I done...
- - Electrical-system component caused a fire; the company denied responsibility, and Ian said it would be investigated, but six months on no update.
component brought from electric systems caused fire, when spoke to electric systems denied responsibility and said nothing wrong with their components. Kept chasing for an update but was fobbed off everytine saying a manager would get in touch.
When I finally got through to a manager called Ian he said this willl be investigated and he will come back with an update. this was 6 months ago and still waiting.
Rubbish company. DO NOT BUY!!!!

- - Parts were shipped to the wrong address and arrived damaged.
- - There is a 30% restock fee and no returns.
Poor customer service, unreasonable lead time - was quoted 3-4 weeks for a single part, turned up 8 weeks later! Parts shipped to the wrong address!!!!
Absolute joke!!!!! By the time the part came it arrive damaged, when speaking to someone at ESL they had the nerve to say to me that there was a 30% restock fee.
When I refuse to accept this fee they said they do not accept returns only the restock fee! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AT ALL!!!!!

Electric Systems LTD based in Manchester, UK is a gray market company that classify themselves as '2nd tier' distributors. They import electrical components and are exporting these as well.
A Jewish owned family company, they are particularly fond of nepotism, long hours, low pay and confidentiality. Staff turnover is particularly high due to management mistreatment. They employ young and average people so that they don't fathom that they are working for such a disreputable company. In effect, this company is ruining the market in the UK, as well as taking away from our economy.
By buying at rock bottom prices from various regions in Europe and reselling into the UK at a phenomenal profit, but still cheaper than manufacturer official distributors. They flood the market, and progressively sell huge amounts of stock at ludicrous discounts. ESL mainly trade in Schneider, ABB, Eaton, Allen Bradley and Siemens components. Along with ESL, they have a number of questionable companies, Utopia Technologies, DP Medical, DP Data, Roma Finance, NW Data to name a few.
Although on the same premises, companies mixing is strictly discouraged in order to hide goings on. It should be noted that HP launched a case against DP Data for gray market trade, in which they won. DP Data's reputation never fully recovered and the owners mercilessly made all the staff redundant.
Although still managing to find positions for friends and family within the business' some where.
