Their 'customer service' is a joke!

I purchased beats headphones for christmas present. They stopped working by february so i found out how to return them- told thered be no problem exchanging or refunding! Ha! I sent them back in march and they still have done nothing! Claiming now they lost my return and theres nothing they can do! Wtf! $200 headphones im supposed to forget? No *** way! They refuse to refund or exchange even with receipt and then lose my return! No reason they're closing!

Chris is rude

Went in to pick up an order I placed online for in store pickup was informed from Chris they don't do that there this isn't Walmart. I work 3rd shift and drove from out of town in freezing rain to be treated like this.

Really!! She needs to learn respect and how to treat customers. Thankfully Miss Joanne V helped me and was very pleasant.. Chris has also been rude to my family members and friends and several occasions.

Barb who works in handbags and Nancy in cosmetics are always nice and very pleasant and along with Joanne go out of their way to help customers. Maybe Chris should find a job that does not entail customers and customer service.

I can be contacted at 567 208 ****. I expect something to be done about this.

Apparently there is a limit to number of returns one can make at Elder Beerman in Frankfort that is kept a secret. I purchase online because there is limited "non little old lady" clothing in Frankfort. I won't be doing business with this chain because it isn't return friendly. Solution--- other stores suit my needs better. Closed my account. Bye bye Elder Beerman and Bob-Ton. You are dead to me.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. After receiving merchandise that was repackaged in a mailing envelope to disguise a VERY damaged carton, upon further inspection, there were TWO orange labels indicating there were parts missing.

Customer service would not send a shipper to pickup merchandise. USPS refused to accept package as I received it. Customer service Rep agreed to credit my account an additional $15.00 for time, mileage and packaging materials needed to return merchandise.

Three phone calls/emails later....and 6 weeks later, they have reneged on their initial communication to insure customer satisfaction.

Shipping cost will not refresh

I spent 1.5 hours trying to figure out what combination of keystrokes would force the shopping cart to update the shipping costs. It said I had free shipping, but the system would not bring up the correct price.

It is no wonder that a retail company such as BonTon/Elder Beerman is hurting financially, when the simplest this should be an online order.

I don't care anymore about battling with the website - I am going someplace else for my purchase online. If EB/Bonton wants to make headway in the new online markets, they need to get a new consultant and team to redesign the website.
