Payday Loan Email Scam
I thought that elayaway was a site that I could put items from sites like amazon on layaway as that is what it refers. I did the application giving my DL, SS# and bank account believing that it was a REAL site as it has been around for a long time. Instead I received about 25 emails with payday loan offers. They referred my email out, now what do they do with my SS#, DL and bank account? Very disappointing.

Elayaway is a scam
I submitted an application to elayaway.com and was referred to a number of payday loan companies who offered to approve a loan amount and deposit that amount in my bank account, if approved. I was told that elayaway simply refers applications to a variety of payday loan companies and hence have no association with any of the merchants mentioned on their website. It was a waste of my time and I feel that I was scammed into thinking that elayaway has an association with the stores as they claim. They are simply a company which sells their leads to payday loan companies. Don't be scammed by elayaway. They are not a layaway company and do not have anything to sell except your name and credit information.

I am handicapped and they sent me part of the unit! I complained they said they sent me a complete other well it never came the STOLE THE COMPLETE COST $129 AND NEVER MADE GOOD ON REFUNDING MY MONEY.
