Charging me for shipping for a return

DI called about a return. I was told that I would have to pay shipping fees on top of the fees I paid for delivery. The person I spoke with said it was my fault for not reviewing the item carefully before I purchased it. I will never order anthing from this company ever again and I sugges you don't either

I would highly recommend not buying from this merchant. I had ordered approximately 5 to 6 different Lemax items from this company and they all came out to me damaged.

- adapter was not working so item would not light up .

I emailed them & they told me t replace t adapter . when they should of shipped me one that works

- other ones had broken pieces , wire exposed , & the lights &sounds made very very loud knocking noises

When I emailed them they were very rude & disrespectful . I had a very very hard time getting my money back . They tried charging me restocking fees of almost 1/2 the cost of t item .

I had proof that t items were damaged upon delivery with pictures I took BEFORE sending back . They tried stating that I had damaged the item & tried returning it. There are many other Companies that sell Lemax in t US besides this awful Co .

Try going online & u can easily find these other Co . eHobbyTools is very unprofessional & unethical

Good luck with that apology because you'll never get it from them. They could care less and they really have no business being a distributor for Lemax. It's obviously Lemax has ehobbytools as distributors for the money and they don't care about their customers, either company.

20% of Lemax orders damaged or missing piece's

The mysterious shipping department sends out 20% damaged items or with missing pieces. Dave on the phones is nice, but the shipping and packing department is another story. When there's a real issue he blames them and that's it. Stay away and go elsewhere. Very unprofessional and sloppy company. Cheap prices yes, but there's a reason for that. Never again.

Wow, 20% seems unreasonably high. I've had some damaged items but it always seems to have occurred during shipping.

They inspect & test everything before it goes out to make sure it isn't defective. I found that out when I asked about the #s and initials on the packing list.

Any shipping issues they've always taken care of. I like the prices, fast shipping & great packing (except I hate the styrofoam peanuts lol)

Do not buy from ehobbytools. I reached out regarding my shipment that was not delivered and instead of telling me when I could expect my package and after several aggressive emails from customer service, they decided to ask fedex to cancel the shipment and return to them.

The package was 30-45 mins from my house.

This order was placed on 9/16/2021, the customer selected shipping 3 to 14 day transit times, in addition to the processing time (7 days as stated when placing an order). This order was shipped on 9/20/2021 via Fedex , 3 days ahead of schedule.

The customer called on 9/24/2021 asking why the package did not arrive yet so we explained that the package will take between 3 to 14 days from the time we ship to arrive The customer emailed on 9/27/2021 “My purchase is almost a week late with no delivery in sight with the latest scan being 45 mins away from my house. I want a refund for this purchase.” We emailed back “Hello, sorry for the issue, Fedex, UPS and USPS are having trouble again this year with keeping up with the volume of packages. The package is still in transit and not a week late as you selected 3 to 14 day delivery, thanks eHobbyTools” Additionally we spoke to Fedex to check and they stated the package is still in transit to the customer. The customer repeatedly stated via email that they were not happy with the shipping time so we contacted Fedex to return the package to us.

We let her know that, “Once we have confirmation the package is on its way back we would process a refund. We are unable to make Fedex move faster, there are shipping issue all over the world. We will try to get Fedex to return the package to us and once they confirm this we will process the refund. We tried to explain the issue and you told us you no longer want the item by requesting a refund so we are doing what you requested.” The customer then stated “I did not request a refund” but this was clearly stated in their very first email.

We then received a call from our Fedex representative that the package was switched to be returned to us. We then sent the following email “Hello, we do see it was updated today that it is being returned so we will send the refund. Again you requested a refund which we were trying accomplish for you, thanks eHobbyTools” EMAILS BETWEEN THIS CUSTOMER AND EHOBBYTOOLS ARE BELOW From: Tara Duncan [mailto:duncantsav@gmail.com] Sent: Monday, September 27, 2021 10:16 AM To: orders@ehobbytools.com Subject: Re: Order Shipped # EHT- 85509 My purchase is almost a week late with no delivery in sight with the latest scan being 45 mins away from my house. I received a customer service call back today after I wrote an email regarding a damaged piece I received (Crowley Hall, order ETH-73436). The customer service person Dave started the conversation basically accused/blamed me for my attempt to repair which resulted fog like mark along the edge where I applied glue. Ironically, he suggested I apply glue to the replacement part that he offered to send me. I have been purchased many times and many pieces from you and not sure if I'll continue to do so after this poor experience with your customer service representative.

Company contacted after negative review on their facebook page which they deleted.Because I did not take their insurance they would refund me 3.00 out of 7.99. I received my very last order from them yesterday and all three of the packages of 5 figurines had broken figurines in them for a total of 31.96.

If I could have cancelled this order I would have.

Done, done, done. I have found a company in Canada with cheaper prices, amazing customer service and they have all of the Lemax products way before EHobby.

I have placed several orders with them without a problem. I received my last order and on of the christmas figurines was broken. They had absolutely no intention of making anything right. There reponse was you didn't purchase the insurance. end of story. rude, rude, rude they have lost a valuable customer for $7.99 NEVER AGAIN!! do not care about the customer at all. I will pay more to get customer service. We all have a choice where we spend our money

Not sure I would purchase from here again. Received some damaged items and emailed them with no response. So I called them they told me in so many words to just "return the damaged stuff for a refund and purchase from somewhere else. We check stuff before we send it out and you may have the same issues." Wow! Why would you even send stuff out like this? I'd rather you cancel my order. AND nothing else was done to try and rectify the situation. After spending a total of almost $1,000 at this place, that made me feel like a VERY valued customer (photos of defective grass squares and some of the firework displays shown below). I try to support small businesses like these, but with this kind of attitude I might go elsewhere.

I purchased a Lemax pyramid from eHobby and when it arrived it was broken. I called and went through the steps to try to get an exchange. Due to a lack of inventory, I was told an exchange was not possible but I could get a “credit” to purchase something else from the website. All of this I was ok with and I sent back the pyramid the first week of November. On January 3, I saw that they had the same item in stock so I called to order it since my “credit” was not reflected on my eHobby account or my back account. When I spoke to Dave (the same man who handled my original calls) he told me that they don’t do credits only refunds. I told him I had not seen any money returned to my account either. He then came back and said I would receive a “credit”. I told him I still wanted the pyramid so could he just send me the item instead of going through all that. He said I had to wait for the “credit”. After going back and forth with him about this “credit” (that he originally told me the company does NOT do) he finally told me that he uses the words credit and refund interchangeably so he understood why I was so confused. I then asked if it usually takes almost 2 months to receive a refund or credit to which he replied “No”. I asked if there was a reason why my particular refund or credit took that long. Again he replied “No”. At this point I’m wondering if I hadn’t called would I have ever gotten a refund or credit? VERY disappointed with the service and the condescending tone. I was pleasant and understanding throughout the whole process but unfortunately this was not reciprocated. Due to the poor customer service I will NOT be purchasing from them EVER again.

I purchased a spoooky town bump in the night. It sounded terrible and was broken. When I called to complain they were actually kind of rude and I had to pay shipping back for a broken product. I am not a happy customer. Will not use them again.
