Ehlers Construction charged me for a floor that had to be ripped out and replaced

Ehlers Construction sub-contracted with Imperial Floor's to install laminate flooring. Imperial Floor's installed damaged and flawed laminate flooring that buckled due to poor installation.

The Imperial Floor installer acknowledged that the laminate floor was damaged and flawed but installed it anyways hoping that I would not notice. I made a formal complaint to both the contractor and sub-contractor and was told that I needed to follow-up directly with the manufacture. In the meantime, Ehlers construction paid Imperial floors over $1300.00 for the damaged and poorly installed laminate flooring. It took me 5 months to get the manufacture to replace the floor.

The entire floor had to be ripped up and completely replaced.
