Total Ponzi Scheme!

AI Highlights
  • Tour canceled due to civil unrest.
  • Refund requires a $450 fine.
  • Rebooking to a later, pricier date increased credit; plans to report to MA AG.

They canceled a Tour of Peru on me because of civil unrest in the country; they said in the fine print; if I wanted my money refunded that I would have to pay a fine of $450.00; even though they canceled the tour!

To avoid this I had to rebook to a later date which was more expensive; in other words add more cash onto to my already substantial credit with them!

I find this to be a very underhanded business procedure and vaguely suspicious of a sort of Ponze Scheme!

I do plan on reporting them to the Attorney Generals office of Consumer Affairs in Boston, Massachusetts.

Loss:
$7097
Cons:
  • Too expensive

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Do not travel with them; very silly young consultants on the line who are not very knowledgeable

My father called 7 times & I called 3 times. No one EVER returned any calls to explain why our accounts were messed up.

AI Highlights
  • Raymond was the best rep; he fixed mistakes with upper management and followed up.
  • Raymond and Josh helped sign up 2 neighbors for Italy.

I reached Raymond & he was the best rep that we have dealt with. He not only reached out to upper management to correct some mistakes, but he followed up with me as promised.

In addition, he assisted in getting 2 neighbors signed up for Italy with the help of Josh. They both were SO much better than the other reps we have talked to.

Kudos to Raymond & Josh. Work with them when possible.

User's recommendation: Get Raymond for assistance
