Staff is great and caring. They fixed my shoulder, and it is better than ever. Food is great! The staff was on top of everything.

Edward is my community hospital. Its outpatient serviced are excellent. Beware when you have to be an inpatient! Especially when you get put on the overflow unit in the basement.

Nursing care in the "basement" was terrible! They should go on bypass when FULL of regular beds. The nurses, especially the male nurses, were *** and did not delivery "Nursing Care". Was NOT offered materials to wash up or brush my teeth, I was admitted on a Monday and released Thursday. A few listened to my heart OR lungs yet charted "Completely" on my physical assessment! They let the monitor do the talking. I did not want to leave because insurance would not cover an AMA discharge.

User's recommendation: GO somewhere else if you have to be admitted as an inpatient Especially in that *** hole overflow unit. there.

Rude imaging technician. And the run around when trying to complain.

I have been trying to tell EEHealth about my experience for a few weeks now. My doctor's office told me to call the patient advocate phone # 630-527-****. When you do that, the operator tells you to report it at Patient Experience@***.org. When you go to the website, you're instructed to call 630-527-****! I don't think Edwards wants to handle any complaints. They usually send a survey out ,but not this time. I will never use their mammogram service again. The radiologist named Veronica was very rude and abrupt. I have NEVER been treated like that by a so-called professional. Not only was I mistreated, they decided to let someone else do the test, so I waited a longer time. I actually arrived 20 minutes early, as requested, was the first in the waiting room, but had to sit through three people being taken ahead of me.

User's recommendation: Make sure you don't get Veronica in Mammography if you're going for the test.

Waiting times are ridiculous. We were told to wait an hour, we waited for 3 and still weren't updated.

Got a call to pick up my mom. They said she'd be ready to go at noon. 45 minutes later and the doctor still hasn't signed the papers to release her. Time is important to us too.

They transferred him in the middle of the night...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Dr Robert Hung approved the transfer of my husband in the middle of the night without informing family. He had consent to talk with family. Phone numbers were provided and family made it very clear we wanted to be notified. My husband is paranoid, hallucinating And heavily medicated. Dr Hung relied on this very ill persons version of his medication history instead of contacting his primary psychiatrist. He then passed the Wrong información on to the next hospital. Sloppy, unprofessional and irresponsible. Also, the idiot that cleared him medically ignored the fact that his platelets had fallen to 16,000 while he was there and his bilirubin had risen from 5.2 to 7.9 in just the couple of days he was there. His primary care doctor is worried about him bleeding out! She let me know she was contacting the psych hospital to let them know . They think he is medically stable but he is not .

Addison Illinois emergency care

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On Sunday July 10, 2016 I took my husband to this location ( also called first and stated I was coming in ) he had a deep cut to his fingers. Upon arrival the front desk told the nursing staff in the back that he was here and this fingers were cut I could see from there faces that they did not care. After a half hour of waiting in the waiting lobby with blood soaked paper towels I got up and asked the nurse how much longer before he would be seen she told me there were 5 people ahead of us to which I replied that was not acceptable that no one has even accesed his fingers or asked what had happened to him. We got up to leave asking where the closest emergency was and we were told Alexian Brothers down the street. This clinic let us leave......we did go to Alexian Brothers who took care of my husband as soon as he walked in that asked what happened and when they were told a remote control air plain hit him and the fingers were cut they X-rayed his arm to make sure there was no fracture, cleaned the finges gave him a tentus shot and he received 6 stitches. When I complained to the head of this Addison location the next day (Lisa) she stated she spoke with the staff and they were very busy that day, but I also told her blood and a deep cut should come before a urinary infection or broken toe. It is an emergency clinic that can expect to be busy. I sat there long enough to know what was going on and their HEPA is not very secret. Go to Alexian Brothers on Lake Street in Addison if you want good care.

Edwards Hospital Naperville Illinois gave bad diagnosis that could have killed me or made me a veg.

When I was 22 yrs old I was feeling really headache-y, forgetful, tired, and vomiting alot. My mother took me to a local hospital where the "Neurologist" decided I had depression. He prescribed prozac. I figured he is a physician right, he would know. But I didn't feel depressed I told him. "We can up your dose" he said. Up yours I was thinking. My mom even suggested a CAT Scan. He told her I didn't need one. I went to a family doctor of my cousins. He was very thorough, he looked in medical books, he ran a few tests. He gave me my CAT Scan. Bingo! I had a large brain tumor. The new doc said I need to be on the operating table yesterday. I went to Loyola Hospital in Maywood IL. Was in surgery for twelve hours (I've had 2 more surgeries subsequently) Dr. Anderson and Dr. Origitano are amazing. The nurses on the neuro floor are angels. Especially Margeurite. Doing OK now, have some short term memory loss. Will never go back to Edwards Hospital in Naperville IL not even for a hangnail.
