Ficticious charges

If you decide to use Home Advisor, at least give yourself the protection of using a "throw away" pre pay credit card. This will offer you the ability to halt payment if you aren't taking leads. You are much better off avoiding this kind of company, but if you must try it, protect yourself. I did use the pre pay card, but got burned anyways. After I turned off the leads, they continued sending them, supposedly, and just billed me instead. Today I got a letter from a collection company, saying I owed $900....HUH? Remember when they burn you, I warned you....:)
