This is not the first time I've been on hold for that long I've called three other times was on hold for over 30 minutes and I got tired of waiting and hung up. Edelbrock needs to hire more people to man The technical support line! The tech support had no answer for my problem with the Edelbrock Performer manifold

New heads spring height not correct, head gasket surface imperfection
- - Two Edelbrock 60435 heads arrived; four spring heights were correct; rest needed shimming.
- - Gasket imperfection required resurfacing; both heads.
I bought 2 60435 heads new in a box and after receiving I check the spring heights and only found 4 that were correct and I had to re shim the other 12. During further inspection the head gasket surface on one of the heads had an imperfection so both heads had to be resurfaced. This was my first time purchasing a set of aluminum Edelbrock heads and most likely my last.

I bought my first set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, I received 2 60435 bbc heads new in the box and while installing 2 light duty valve springs to measure for rocker arm length and valve to piston clearance I checked the spring height before reassembly and found one of the heights was off .040 so I checked all 16 springs and found only 4 were correct. Further inspection revealed that the head gasket surface on one head had and imperfection and had to be resurfaced so the second head was resurfaced to match. I will not be using Edelbrock heads going forward.
