Ed Voyles Honda Dealership
Daughter purchased a car from ed vogle honda rod went in less than 30 days
Sept. 4th 2013 daughter purchased a 2000 Acura and in less than 30 days a rod blew, and the pre-own manager got smart mouth with me and state that there was nothing he could do.
Saying that we have nothing to do with how a person drives a car, but in less than 30 days a major break down should not have happen if the car had been properly inspected before they sold my daughter this vehicle. But for Mr.
Pendley to respond to me with such a negative response, I took offense to the situation. My daughter does not want a car payment, and when she has spent $5000.00 on a vehicle and in less than 30 days it no longer works.
Dishonest Sales Practice
If I have to describe the sales team of this dealership in one word, I'll say LIAR.
We went to this dealership because we were promised a certain price for a Honda Odyssey. I called twice to confirm the price before we went.
Once we were there, we were told they would not honor the price. We then asked if they could match a price we got from another dealer, which is slightly higher they what they originally offered and we have on a piece of paper, they said no.
We left.
On our way home, while we are about 10 miles away, they called us and said they would honor the slightly higher price and would we please go back.
We went back.
I dropped my husband off and left once the paperwork was started because we have small kids to take care of.
Once I left, seeing my husband would need to drive the new car back home, they changed their price again. They would not offer the slightly higher price!!! They wanted to charge $300 more!
It's okay if they won't give me a deal. It's NOT okay that they would call us back claiming to give me a deal and then told me they would not. My time and energy, also gas wasted on driving back, means nothing to them.
I ended up going back for a 3rd time to pick up my husband.
The sales force of this dealership knew nothing about honesty and integrity. Shame on Ed Voyles Honda!
2011 Honda Pilot Homelink
May 4, 2012 I had an appointment at Ed Voyles Honda, Marietta, Ga. with Ed Price, service manager, as I had previously been in there 4 times to try to get some assistance in getting the Homelink programed . I arrived 15 minutes early, and was told by Dan, service , that Ed was out on an emergency, but he would ask the service manager( Jody) if he could help. Ed came back 20 min. later, I showed him the print out directions for Geni/ Homelink/ 2011 Honda Pilot, and he asked me to drive "out of the service bay" , park the car, and wait. I asked him to please write this up for warranty purposes. After 30 min. of waiting in my car, I went back to speak to Dan, but he was not available, so after 45-60 min. I left.
I do not believe Ed Voyles will give service on warranty items UNLESS they get paid up front.
Now, I seriously question if I would purchase a Honda due to a lack of service at the dealership.
