Horrible Service!

After ordering a $2,000.00 mattress online I couldn't get in touch with anyone. Sent literally 5 emails and left numerous messages with no response. After disputing my credit card charges someone finally contacted me.....too late!! Very unhappy! I guess these people think they can just throw up a web site and sell goods with not offering anyone in customer service to answer questions or concerns. Save yourself a lot of time, grief, aggravation, and money and buy from a reputable seller. These guys a sleazy as they come, total dirt bags, unscrupulous, *** smoking idiots! I was finally allowed to cancel my order and received a refund from my credit card company!

Mattress Review

Just want to say I just ordered a mattress from eco-mattress-store.com and it arrived within a week after I ordered it. Not sure what these other reviews are talking about. Maybe they cleaned up their act?

False Promise-Don't Bother!

I ordered a Bliss topper on Saturday- the header on the item said "Ships in 24-48 hours". Not "ususally ships" like you see sometimes on Amazon. Unlike Amazon though there is no one holding these people to an ethical standard. After ordering I saw the above review and was thinking "oh boy". Sent an email out on Saturday then received a reply back from Heidi:"It should arrive by the end of this week, as soon as I have tracking information your account will be updated." Replied asking if it would ship today(Monday). Reply: "It should arrive by the end of this week, as soon as I have tracking information your account will be updated". Replied back that if it didn't ship Monday it would arrive too late and to cancel the order. She replied she would have to check with the manufacturer- which said she didn't have it in inventory and thus her first email was probably incorrect in the least and deceptive at worst. I told her it appeared it was not going to ship on Monday as advertised therefore to cancel. Still no reply, so I just disputed this with my Visa issuer and that will take care of it. Interesting that before I started indicating a cancellation of the order I got replies and their phone was answered. I've left three messages for callbacks and there have been non.

Eco Mattress Store in Florida, do not trust. They are deceptive and only out for the sale.

Their guarantee is bogus and it took me three months to get a refund on a mattress base that they shipped the wrong color and it didn't fit. It was only after I threatened to report them to attorney general and BBB that they responded. Then it took me another five weeks to finally get a check.

My wife tried and tried but never could get anywhere. I had to threaten them to finally get it taken care of.

REPORT #1: Apr 15 - Review #482947 - by anonymous Complaint #1. “Expensive Organic Pillows” RESPONSE: Our company does NOT presently, nor previously sold organic cotton pillows. We sell one Eco memory foam pillow and that is all. Complaint #2. “I spoke to Heidi...” RESPONSE: We presently do NOT have, nor have we ever had an employee by the name of Heidi. REPORT #2: Jul 09, 2013 - Review #427746 - Tomtg Complaint #1. “Jul 9, 2013” RESPONSE: Due to our mattress manufacturer restructuring its company and distributions we have had our online site shut down for sales since FEBRUARY 2013. Our store only took sales/payments online for 3 months in 2012 into the beginning of 2013. Then we took the payment options off the site until just this month SEPTEMBER 2014. So there is no way this purchase was even through our website. Complaint #2. “Bed Springs” RESPONSE: We do NOT sell bedsprings. Complaint #3. “Eco Mattress Store, is not really a store, they are just a website.” RESPONSE: We are a furniture store and we are a family owned business which has been in business for over 20 years. This is the online mattress division for our business. If you call us, someone will answer the phone. Complaint #4. “They don't accept returns...” RESPONSE: We accept returns. Obviously we request proof of the claim issues, but if there is a problem we desire to resolve it as we value our good name and keeping our customers. Complaint #5. “...they did send me a tracking number that indicated my shipment was five pounds in weight and delivered a week earlier to some place in Maine (I live in Virginia).” RESPONSE: We would like to know the tracking number as I am positive this is not our company. We have never shipped anything to Maine, nor have we ever had an online mattress sale to the state of VA or ME. Our record clearly indicate that. Complaint #6. “They had an answering machine... they never returned one call.” RESPONSE: What was the message on the answering machine? Ours has a very specific message. What was the number you phoned? We always return phone calls. REPORT #3: Jul 28, 2012 - Review #335337 - by anonymous Complaint #1. “...within 8 weeks of delivery (Nov 2011)” RESPONSE: We didn't even have an online store in 2011. We have NEVER received communication with the BBB, EVER. Complaint #3. “The Company represents themselves as a Mattress Store, but I have since found out they DO NOT have a store front, they operate out of a UPS/mailing center using a PO Box as the suite #.” RESPONSE: We have a storefront. We have a location, we have products, we have a showroom. We are not solely a “Mattress Store”, we are a furniture store. The website is our online store for the mattresses we have in our showroom. People come into our showroom and our local location and purchase these same mattresses all the time. Do not believe anything that exomatressstore.com owner or representative has to say. They do not care about their customers and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

All they care about is making the sale, wants they ship their product, it will be a cold day in *** before they try to help you out with Amy problem you may have.... And their guarantee - ha - "its a state law that we can't return any mattress or mattress base that has been opened" how many times did they try to use that on me and my wife.

My advise is to buy from some other company that values people and customers. "BEWARE"

An anonymous person leaves a vague review. Sounds like a legal battle ahead for you my friend.

Lawyers are moving in on this kind of reporting. You better make sure you have the correct company. Slander, slander, slander. By the way, check the state where the mattress is sold from, most states DO HAVE state laws regarding the returns of mattresses.

They don't let them do it.

That is why most of the big ones just tell you to dispose of it and return your money. ;)

Great Company

Extremely poor customer service-never received my order

Ordered expensive organic cotton pillows Feb. 9, 2014. To date, 4/15/14, have yet to receive those items. Contacted company by email 3 times in March inquiring where the pillows were and each time Heidi said, "they had just been shipped or were just about to be shipped or the order was misplaced and they would be immediately shipped". Called today to talk to a supervisor. Heidi answered the phone. She said there was no one I could talk to but her. I asked if she owned the company and she said she didn't. I asked what her boss' name was so I could speak to her supervisor, and call back when her supervisor was in and she told me she was in charge and was "the only one I could talk to". She would not let me talk to anyone but her because she knew I was going to complain about the extreme lack of customer service. I told her I would write a bad review if she continued to block me from speaking to anyone else at the company who might resolve this issue. She told me to go ahead a write a negative review---she didn't care. I cancelled my order and will NEVER do business with this company again!!

No Refunds allowed

We ordered what we thought was a mattress and bed spring.... They advertise that shipping in 48 hours. After a month and many calls we finally got our mattress. We were horrified by what we got. Within an hour of delivery we called and asked to return our order. On the phone.. we were informed for the first time ever that they do not accept returns on the mattress we ordered. If I had known there were no returns I never would have ordered from this company.... I now have two mangle unopened boxes sitting in my living room. One is full of pieces of wood (I thought this was the box spring... but apparently not). The other has a rolled up mattress inside. If there had been a store and they tried to put these items in the back of my vehicle, I would have walked away and canceled my purchase immediately. Now I am out $900 and I still need to buy a mattress and bed spring for my daughters new bed. Eco Mattress Store, is not really a store, they are just a website. Anything you order from them, they order from the manufacturer and have it shipped directly to you. After our order, we called them many times while waiting for our shipment. They never returned one call. They were never available in the afternoons, but they did have an answering machine recording messages which they never did anything about. When we did get in touch with them, they never could verify our shipment. The day after we originally placed the order, they did send me a tracking number that indicated my shipment was five pounds in weight and delivered a week earlier to some place in Maine (I live in Virginia). This tracking number was never updated.

Would not address complaints or answer phone calls

Did not get any customer service from the ECO Mattress Store after the sale. Started having sagging problems with Natura Laytex Mattresses (2 twin XL's/dual king) within 8 weeks of delivery (Nov 2011) and could not get anyone to answer or return calls (did not have any problem getting calls answered before purchase). Finally had to get the BBB involved to communicate, they finally, after 4 months, honored the warranty for one mattress of a dual king set, but never had any contact from the company or the manufacturer regarding what was going on until a freight company called to set up delivery. The other mattress also needs replacing- clearly the 90 day satisfaction guarantee has no real protection. The Company represents themselves as a Mattress Store, but I have since found out they DO NOT have a store front, they operate out of a UPS/mailing center using a PO Box as the suite #.

I too am having issues. The smell wont go away and its been 2 months.

we haveeven put it outside to air out and it didnt work. i called and they told me i had to call LS. i called LS and they said eco mattress had to help me because it is their product. eco-mattress wont return my emails and are not helpful when u call.

my poor 2 yr old has been without a bed since our newborn is using her toddler bed mattress.

I purchased mine through a living social deal. So, I can't even return the purchase.
